Somehow, for some god damn reason, PZNS disables vehicle mechanics when it's in my load order .. When loaded, removing any part from a vehicle does nothing.

There is no way to give them guns or armor. They are just stuck with bats. Download Supurb Survivors. This is stupid

All these people bitching about no multiplayer support should maybe take the time to open their eyes and fucking read, and maybe you will understand why there is no multiplayer support, I can tell the creator must be getting tired of illiterate bums constantly still asking for multiplayer support even way after the creator himself has said they're NOT going to do it themselves, and that they're even going as far a blocking people who keep asking them for it (Understandably), If you want a multiplayer sipport for it MAKE IT YOUR OWN FUCKING SELF or shut the fuck up for once:steamfacepalm:

Npc Survivor keeps killing them when I spawn em.... They wont work together. almost like they see em as zombies

you made the Hostile NPC too tanky, it took 3 clean hits to the face with a machete and still lived to kill me with a lousy hammer

Not sure what's going on, but it seems survivors no longer spawn in PZ anymore with the mod enabled, same with other PZNS mods.

@Screethegargoyle There's a setting in I think "Display" options, "Enable Mouse When Aiming" or something, enabling this should fix that issue; SS/SSC has this same issue and as of now it seems like a hard limit/issue with the vanilla game's inner workings as NPCs are seen as AI players, which makes the game think you are aiming (and thus your mouse disappears cause the setting is turned off) and poof, gone is your mouse.

Only place I’ve ever consistently found an RV spawning is that grassy section to the east of the Dixie gas station. Could be a mod adds that as a spawn though. Outside of that, I don’t think there are any set spawn points for RVs, just have to look around to find one. Or use the cheat menu (rebirth version) or bikinitools to spawn one.

quick question, Is this mod as laggy as Superb Survivors?
Are there more npc than just resident evil ones?
Do they spawn in world, or you have to spawn them?
Can you give them jobs, like in SS, to barricade windows, make farms etc?

skin mods dont work with this for some reason. i have a face retexture mod and it just doesnt apply with this mods NPCs

Just got wrecked by a hostile survivor...they usually don't do anything, but my companion opened fire into the dark earlier on, I thought "zombie, she'll deal with it", then I saw the "red naming" and before I knew it I'd eaten three bullets!

If I'd not had a proper med kit with plenty of sutures, I would have bled out on the spot - Reminded of why any incarnation of SS (no matter how WIP or buggy) is a great addition to this game!

Will there be a possibility to add/adjust NPC behaviour. Zomboid feels empty on hardcore settings without superb survivors helping with chores or competent melee fighting. (hauling corpse, chopping trees, gathering wood or other items, DOCTOR, farming would be cool)

From my understanding PZNS is the new and improved SSC!? I've always valued performance over everything but the NPCs are utterly immersion breaking. Most unrealistic gun targeting (especially when shooting through windows at distance), unnaturally pivet on a dime to shoot zombies while completely surrounded yet cannot manage to face zombies normally to attack with melee.

I beg for the SSC features to be added :P! I miss the days of making a spartan line and mowing through hundreds of zombies until the brutes come!

you would need to modify a spawning mod to use a table of names and surnmaes you made and pick a random one

Hi,
in 'superb suvivor' mods there is a file 'moodles_xx.txt' in the /shared/Translate/ directory which lists many first names.

I wanted to change the first names of the NPCs in your mod but I can't find the file that lists the list of first names; However, the NPCs spawn with a random first and last name...

Where can I find this list please?

An absolutely brilliant mod and very easy to use! This might be a silly question and I apologize if it is, but do they need food and water in their inventory and will they eat/drink automatically? I ask because my Agent Wong just dropped dead moments after I did a medical check with "OK" status.

I wanted to use this MOD because superb has a lot of bugs. However, the NPCs in this MOD are still useless in battle. I have high hopes for it, but I think I'll be using superb for a while longer.

Use notepad++ or Visual Code Studio to code, learn some basic lua coding, analyze example mods in the PZNS framework. PZNS framework also has a utils folder that you can use to speed up the coding. https://projectzomboid.com/modding/index.html https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Modding

awesome mod but so incredibly buggy, doesn't allow full scaling of RP can't talk to other npcs as it doesn't show up and the npcs are quite non cooperative, if you fixed these issues this would be a top download

When I place a stack of items with this mod enabled, right-clicking them and clicking Take Half causes an error. The console log says it's conflict with vanilla and the survivor inventory, something to do with referencing a null. Not a big deal as I rarely take half anyway!

Sometimes the animation freezes and the npc get stuck. In the behaviour coding you should clear the timed action queue periodically or create a function to identify stucked npcs.
Sometimes they get stuck in objects, like furnitures and containers, you should prevent spawn in these kind of squares.

For other kind of issues or issues on user-side, will help if you send a video link and the mods used.

Yes, this is pretty much the current state. But for the jobs, the "Guard" and "Companion" are functional, the guards circle around your home-base searching for trouble, the companions follows you and can travel with you in vehicles. More jobs are needed obviously, you can improve by adding directly to the main project, but I think is better to create a mod addon instead. I manage to code a tree chopper in one of my other mods ( https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3062331905 ), but isn't very good, although do the job.

Hope more ppl get interested on using this framework and contribute to the project, as the B42 seems to not come before the real life apocalypse.

As far as I know, this can only be "fixed" by setting the npcs immune to cold, in vanilla-lua I can't find the function responsible, so I guess is on java code (which is out of scope for lua-modding). In my Hostile NPCs mod (Take No Prisoners, tnp for short) you can find a file named sneezing_fix.lua which do this workaound.
