This probably isn't possible, but is there a way you could remove bloom on the media player, to possibly fix having to much bloom to read little text, maybe a Console Variable.

There is no support or compatibility for the Lamda Players add-on. This is also mentioned in the workshop description.

Subtitles should actually be switched off by default, there is no built-in Option for this. Try switching off the subtitles manually on the YouTube request page (on the video self).

does this being incompatible with lambda players mean that it breaks when used with it or that that lambda player module just wont work

@The_Horde Theoretically a sign in is possible to save, and be safe and trust worthy. i been experimenting with this for a internet browser addon i somewhat recently got access to, im now one of the devs, ive rewrote it, and made it better and been looking to add a way to cache things save cookies, bookmarks, and logins, and make it like super super safe, by default i would alos not find sign in to be that safe but, it can be made to be safe. my mod here is legit just ui, just an interface that can do nearly all a regular browser can, and using codec fix it can play anything, like Netflix, ig phub and other, everything. so yeah and no for signing it:3

@The_Horde nothing is saved or cached, its legit just a panel for the player that re-directs to the site you pick, eg youtube, only people with your info is youtube, same as using your browser.

mediaplayer_proximity_min (default: 100)
mediaplayer_proximity_max (default: 1000)


Please report any problems or errors that arise, even though I have already tested it thoroughly.

What about GModPatchTool / GModCEFCodecFix? Have you run the program and patched the game with it? Without the patch, neither Bitchute, Google Drive, nor Internet Archive will work. This is also explicitly mentioned in the description.

I enter a link for Bitcute, it adds it to the playlist for a second and then disappears. Google drive link does nothing, not even an error message. Internet archive has video but no sound.

@FROST BYTE, I don't see what your problem is. Do your homework next time and read the workshop description about service compatibility. You are trying to play an MP4 video that requires GModPatchTool.

In your case with rule**, the only thing blocking you is either your internet provider or a DNS block that blocks NSFW sites. Media Player does not have any blocklists.

in trying to find out which "adult" sites work, media player seems to blacklist rule34, even though plenty of videos use webm or mp4. is there a block or is it just unsupported.

the message i receive is this: Request failed: The media source is not supported.

It does not work with Lambda Players, this is already explicitly mentioned in the description. Please take a pair of reading glasses next time.

@XAV1ER0N, The error code you specified in line 169 does not exist and is not relevant to this add-on. What you subscribed to is from someone else who is using outdated codebase.

Make sure you have not subscribed to any other media player add-ons, as this will cause conflicts...

@Guy, Reading makes you smart (see workshop description), you cannot play videos from your own hard disk. There is no guarantee for vrmod, it might work but not as expected.

@Noelle ❄, You spelled the address incorrectly, but that's beside the point. The problem is either on your end or something is disrupting the connection. It could be a network blocker, antivirus software, or something else. Alternatively, the problem could also lie with the provider hosting the data, which in this case is Cloudflare Pages, over which I have no control.

Make sure that you are not subscribed to the original addon and other Media Player addons too!, as this can lead to conflicts. Deactivate all add-ons for testing and leave only this one on
