I was searching for mods and this came up. It reminded me of what you created for my son all those years ago. I think I gave you a heartfelt thanks back then at the time but the discussion threads are not visible any more. Leo loved playing it over and over.
This is a great reminder of how awesome the internet can be sometimes. Many thanks.

Played it, liked it. Let's hope Leo liked it also! :lunar2020gigglemonkey::steamhappy:

Kinda anticimatic to be sent to software credits. (sigh)

"Welcome to the Axe, The Spear, and The Flail.
Nine rooms you can pass through - it's really a sail;
but change only switches that tell of this tail."

Not a clue for little Leo, definately not. And probably not a clue for some veteran gamers either; but it does fit the puzzle offered. Put it on difficult rating for this one. Mwahahahahaha!

Thanks for the adventure Snork Maiden. You've even helped me understand this game better!

Smile ... and here you orignally said you were leaning towards only two floors. If my count is right I think you have 5 levels. Diving back in to see where the system will let me pick up again.

I hope Leo is liking it.

You're very close to the end. Loose rocks are nearby any pressure plates that need to be depressed to progress. However, dropping something else is perfectly reasonable and helps novice players to learn somehing new. Interesting bug, never come across one like that before. Not sure what it could be related too, chances are its nothing to do with the dungeon itself, but not outside the realms of possibility.

Another interesting riddle, one I'll need to add once Leo has finished his first run through. (Because this is a workshop item, updates will automatically apply to anyone who is subscribed).

The editor contains only basic props, and there are no lion statues, unfortunately. You have one floor after the jails, though only a very basic puzzle there. If you want a floor added from any design schematics or plans you want to draw up, I'm sure I can add them odr even make a workshop item for yourself.

I have passed through the jails - mostly instictivly. Have begun to find armor. Saw only two clues. There were probably others I did not see. If that was all there were ... little Leo may need a few more clues. FYI sacrificed the sword to hold down the plate. Hoping game saved correctly this time so I can pick up where I stood.

Possible clue for the chamber of the blue gates:

"Three gates of blue all so true.
Running straight through is not the clue!
Left, right or from the center;
Chose one of each and things will be better!

Part II: IF you need more clues that Is one of my strong points. My table side players have that love hate feeling about me on that. Also thinking about what might be in third level below in this dungeon. Have no idea what is in the props of the LoG editing system. Might there be a lion statue? Leo might also refer to a Lion, or someone who is couragous. A 4 year old might grasp that concept that names might have meanings. IF you want ... I can do some preliminary drawings for that third floor in a graphics program. An eager collaborator.

Part 1:

Found a bug! NOT IN THE GAME but in the interface.

I have been saving the game regularly. Some times fast and ferrous. AND it saves each time during a session. BUT when I come back after closing down and returning to Steam the game resets to the beginning. I was all eager to look for that button only to find I have a lot of walking (no problem there). Would have reported this sooner but thought I was imagining things.

Sorry, may have made a typo or something. Check the middle spoke of the E shaped room. That's where the button is hiding. A riddle sounds nice, but I thought perhaps a little complex
For Leo. Tried to stick to the wording requested by lead coffin, but could always change it. Your riddle is good though, so perhaps when Leo finishes his run, I'll add it in for the others.

You've got a evil mind. The three lever's took me for a loop until I remembered that I DIDN'T save the game, and then never saw the clue on the first run. I offer a revised wording for the levers, rememer we're dealing with a 4 year old, and maybe other novices.

"Some doors might open without a key,
be ready to fall and let things be!
The lever to the left and the lever to the right,
the door by the tapestry is now out-of-sight!

In other directions I feel kinda like Kermet the Frog as I say this: I'm at the 'E' in the path and the clue of 'Well done! Another hidden button is on this wall. ...' As your designing for 4 year old I have taken you very litereally and clicked on each and every stone on that wall. Have I missed ... something? (cheesy grin back to you)

Also... only one key on first floor. The other doors open via levers. Hope that's not too much of a spoiler! Doors locked with keys will have A keyhole on/near them
CravenCoyote  [author] 15 Aug, 2014 @ 4:31pm
Pick up rocks simply by clicking on them. The first key can be seen after the crate lever area. When you walk through the door that opens via that lever, a room is to the left, closed in by bars. But there's another way in... not too hard to find. Also, you can pick up torches from the holders and place into your hand for extra light. That might help you a little!

(Evil grin back. Scratches my head) So where did I miss 3 keys ... Ummm. Will go back to look around maybe learn how to pick up stones ... in the mean time, Found the sword and used that on the crates to get to the lever.
CravenCoyote  [author] 15 Aug, 2014 @ 9:09am
No weapons are needed in this dungeon. All keys for doors are found on the same level as the locked door. Should you ever need to throw something, there are loose rocks around the puzzle area for your nearest convenience. I'd love to make people work for a reward, even punish them for failing a puzzle - but that wouldn't be fair to a new or young player ;)

First ... this makes for an excellent tutorial for those who need itl I am learning small things about the interface that are otherwise would not be covered elsewhere. The concept I think is wonderful. You getting a 10 out of 10 ... at this point. No fear of dying and yet learning about the LoG game setting,

Now 'we' need a very small clue! Are all props for a given level found on the same level?? Every dungeon is different, Just wondering. Personally ... I am the evil referee who MAKES their players work for a reward. Mawahahahahaha!

Once subscribed, launch the game, choose custom dungeon. It should then appear on that list.
