Is it possible to get the world itself, without the mods or the custom AI grids?

I'm attempting to build a drill rig on one of the underwater cobalt veins but the ore rock seems to keep moving itself,is there a fix for this or is this intended?

so im having this issue where when i mine ore in the ore veins, it only gives me stone. Even when im on the spot the ore detector is saying there is ore

I keep getting a message after a huge stutter saying "error: Can't find a spot to spawn gccarcosa"

Sending long range missiles at a base, and at first the base just reset itself. Placed a drone at a safe distance so I could monitor what was happening. And when I sent my next missile, the base just disappeared. Is this normal behavior?

@dannyrocker i tested it for like 1 hour .i was flying around on survival with apex survival options enabled and i didn't find any wild vegetables /fruits to pick up . on default game star system i found one in less than 5 minutes after spawn so they don't spawn. i checked other mods that add planets and i think creators of custom planets need to update their planets to add features of apes survival

@DeLindsay hostile encounter are managed by mse mod , go to rmse mod page and check how you can change config of the mod .

Just curious if there's a way to reduce the frequency of Hostile Encounter attacks? My buddy and I are in space and are on the way to Station-27. We got to the Asteroid Belt and are trying to mine, well anything, but every time we stop for more than a few minutes we get attacked by as many as 3 Ships. We can defeat them but before we're done repairing the damage & salvaging the wrecks we get attacked again and don't even have time to mine.

We don't want to turn down the difficulty as it's reasonable (hard but doable) just reduce the frequency a little, thanks.

@xterrylorakhx Keen prevents you from adding or editing contracts in workshop buildings. Only vanilla contracts can be accessed and even then it's only through vanilla structures as I understand it.
Could be slightly wrong but that's how I understand it.

I am also seeing no contracts or NPCs available in game after I drove my rover to Corcosa Colony A. The contract block has a note about Keen needing to fix things? I verified I have all the mods I am supposed to have and that they are running on the save I am playing so I'm not sure what's wrong

Same as @Wash2, I have the mod, all the core mods and even all the starts. There is bases, but nobody in here, and 0 contract/mission avaiable

I feel like If you wanna run a singleplayer Run, This modpack is the best thing you can do. This is what solo Space Engineers has to be for CO-OP, PvE , Great Reasons to Visit planets, Wellmade markets (You can kinda get rich pretty quick by buying something from some trade centers to sell to the other one) AND Rather pretty fun to fight enemies.

Wished some big youtubers could able to look into this like Splitsie etc... So maybe we can gets bars setup for SE2 so we can actually have a Fun game for SE2

Oh yea, why does the Mod compatibility assembler not allow computers to be put in for crafting, yet theres at least 1 recipe that needs them, the scavenger bot? (I had to check what mod to be sure, but you're the author for IO also, so I figured here is fine).

I can hardly wait to see a GRAND scale version with like 7 planets, and each with a moon or two; a Truly Massive Scenario that will take months to get anywhere lol Each planet with their own special resources (I love using Industrial Overhaul, brings so much more to the game, oh and cant forget to add in shields and THYA script, I mean what is science fiction without shields! lol), and a somewhat of a progression line(s) so that going to each is needed in some way.

The only thing I'm having issues with is knowing what will trigger what; like, I built my first little destroyer to get into space, and then when I was done it, Marshal Law by GC and cant leave the planet.. I only had a small shuttle, a mining ship, and the destroyer, so I was not ready to go fight yet...

Anyone else unable to see the additional scripts added to LCD panels (News feed, Faction strength, etc)? I noticed that they changed the wording from "scripts" to "apps", so maybe they updated something recently and broke it?

Also @gachd, using wind turbines, the "max output" is how much the turbine COULD be producing, but unless the power is being used it will never go to max. Current output shows how much of the power it is generating is being used by your stuff. If that's not what you meant, then I'm not sure because mine are working fine on a newish AaW save.

Does this scenario (or another mod, areo physics perhaps?) screw with wind generation? The vanilla wind turbines frequently, repeatedly and almost consistently under-perform their max output even when they have an "optimal" readout.

Anyone else having trouble with the relative top speed mod? I went to that mod page first and left a comment, but it seems like things have changed over the years on SEs end, and the mods 1/2 broken at this point (speed readout incorrect, shows the wrong config but loads with the correct settings, etc...). Has anyone running the Ares scenario found a way to get the speed readout correct, or `/rts config` to show the real settings? I can tell the settings are being applied, and that the results of `/rts config` are not related at all to the actual setting in-game (it's pretty obvious when a grids travelling over 1 km/s even if your speed readout is broken). Are people replacing it with another mod? I like the idea of relative top speed better than anything else I've seen, but when the only way to tell how fast you're going is to look at the trees and guesstimate, it makes gameplay difficult...

Do factions like the GC change behavior after story events or MES threat scale passes certain thresholds? I could get within 300m of a GC base with no rep loss but now after the FAF/AHE base was destroyed in a story event, I can't even get withing 3km of the local GC base without suffering fast rep loss.

Ran into an issue, not sure if its a bug or a change made in the mod. Items cannot be passed into the basic assembler through the conveyor system. It can with the full assembler, but not the basic assembler.

The global prototech encounters (way out in space) definitely spawn. The random planetary encounters added in the most recent update most likely don't, though.
