Funcom even showed it in one of their recaps of the year about mods ^^ Tbf, they didn't show the lore lighting up, but only the player ones, so I'm not sure if they knew it was more than that, but I was like, this is your own function guys :D

@Rowdy- 03 The fun fact is that it is in the vanilla code. It's just turned off by default. My edit is really only turning that setting on...

This won't load, when I sub to it, the gb size still says 0gb. So any suggestions? Also when I do a search for the mod name it will not come up either.

Addendum: Just had a brainfart, thought nothing else in my LO touched the Archive, but there's that one Katana mod that throws it's weapons in there. Maybe I'll try loosing that one for a go.

EDIT: Yeah, that was it. "Katanas and other weapons" messes with it too. I have all 30 vanilla ones, but this one makes it keep rolling empties.

Yo, this Archive-bug isn't just your mod. Must be others messing with this part of the game too.

Been rebuilding my mod setup & character in-game, after the rig froze and it wrecked my save & entire game thoroughly. Just went to the Archives to get my knowledge up to par again to pre-crash levels after collecting ~50 fragments.

Deactivated your mod before I went in, but still it wouldn't work right. Tells me "You already possess this knowledge", then the second one pops up saying "You got a new scroll".

But there is nothing new in inventory, and just to check I slapped the fragments on my hotbar so I could see the numbers - and sure enough, it kept counting down, but gave me no scrolls. Now mind you, I never played this far into the game without mods, I have no idea if this indeed vanilla behaviour, but reading the wiki it shouldn't act like this.

I'll throw your mod back in myLO now, with glownotes active at least I get duplicate scrolls for souvenirs^^.

Yeah, gotcha. As per the usual, 99 outta 100 cases of a mod not working as intended, itz the users fault. NOT the mod's or itz author's. I did not RTFM, and even dumber, I did not drag the updated 2.0.1 file over to my CE mod folder. Apologies.

Gotz other issues atm, something weird is going on with my game, NPCs (mostly the human ones) just won't spawn at times.

Itz strange walking through Sepermeru at night when itz entirely devoid of people...frikking Ghost Town. Found that I can usually resolve it by just admin-teleporting a few steps, then they'll spawn in, but itz weird. And creepy.

Read the updates notes, I just returned to the old situation wíth the newest devkit, so the effect is the same ánd the new mechanics are in there too ^^

Could you then re-upload the old one that was working (apart from eso library) in the meantime, with a disclaimer about the bug maybe?
Still better to have it with glow everywhere else, can just disable iffen one wants to waste some frags at the archive, and re-actiavte after....

Yeah well, we're back to brute force. I have more to do at this moment than keep trying solutions that should work but randomly refuse. I'll be back to solving this later, but for now I've had it with this thing.

I found a glowing one...inside the jamilla's Liberty in Flotsam, on the lowest deck, to the right of the "entrance" and down the stairs there's a cargo list note, has no knowledge attached, just a fluff note. And it still has the glow.

Issues confirmed, different ones per load, but my internet behaves like it's the year 2000, I could get into single player with a lot of patience but I can't even start devkit atm. Told Xevyr, gonna try to get some sleep somehow and hope I can fix shit tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience.

That's extremely weird, I tested, the glow was there in Sepermeru on the scattered scrolls at the entrance, the player placed ones worked too. And I went to the library, the glow on the library was gone, but that could be because the change is not on the base blueprint anymore, but the library was responsive and refused to give me doubles...

I'm trying to get some sleep atm, but I'll check first thing in the morning.

Nah, I'm not rejoicing one bit. Just wasted 3 fragments in the library, just to make sure. No scrolls came came out of it at all.

Then saw the bookshelf had no golden lights on it, went to some places I know have knowledge scrolls, like Skulker's End with all the Darfari stuff, and none of it don't glow anymore.

Please, take another look at it, this broke more than than it did good, at least on my end. I hate that steam workshop doen't have a space for old mod versions like Nexus does, cuz I just downloaded, installed over the old version. Another lesson learned: Never delete old mod versions, until sure the newer one actually works^^.

That's the downside of editing base assets and also the reason why to avoid it. I'm loading up the big guns as we speak, I'm certain that we can find a way to do this. If all else fails, I'll try editing the updated base asset. Which should work in theory. We'll see. Not ready to give up!

Aww hell no! That's a shame. This mod makes finding the goodies so much easier, I'm not gonna get rid of it under any circumstance, never! Even iffen you can't fix it! Maybe disable for a run to the library, but afterwards it goes right back into the load order.

I thought it was just me with the esoteric library, never gave it a second thought. Since I'm not on server, strictly Single Player, I just admin-spawned me "replacement fragments" for double scrolls I got in the archive whenever it happened. Even kept me some duplicate scrolls as souvenirs...but makes sense, some of the learn-able items in the worldspace are , as I understand it, part of esoteric library knowledge, at least category-wise, as seen in knowledge tab.

Not playing / modding CE for very long, but this is a prime example of how a mod that does one thing can mess with another, seemingly unrelated thing and fark it up. Eeeeh.

I tested it myself and you are correct, I've tried to work on a solution all night to move away from the base edit, but so far none of my methods worked. I have one thing left to try and after that I'm bringing in the big guns and just ask Xevyr what I'm doing wrong ^^

Wish it wasn't so, but I posted the bug to your discord, but thought I should post here too, but it breaks the duplicate check for the Library of Esoteric Knowledge in the EL Archives. Checked it with just this mod active and it;s still broken, not sure what's going on.

Works like a charm. And is a huge QoL improvement, but not intrusive.

One still has to look around carefully to see the golden wisps of light, but iz waaay easier than looking for them books without any such hints - especially when those POS are almost the exact same color as the ground or the wooden tables they are often found sitting on.

The next Big MAC mod I'll never let go off. Noice, keep going dude!

This mod is absolutely essential. The "Press X to interact" indicator is so unhelpful since it shows up several feet away from what it's trying to get you to see and then disappears before you reach the thing. This mod a much better solution!

Not sure if someone has already suggested this but is it possible to add those glowing thing lights come out of the dead bodies of enemies or npcs killed by players? sometimes some bodies disappear or become invisible after dying and or get lost inside the tall grasses in case someone uses higher graphics during gameplays.. can this feature bea dded to this mod itself where killed npcs or enemies also have thin glowing light come up like the notes? may be for dead bodies could be different color light lol
will put same suggestion in your discord also just in case.

Very good improvement. However, it seems I'm having an issue: I don't see the rolled-up spell pages on the NPC sorcerer tables throughout the map. I hope it's not just me. Thank you.

I thank you for reply. It's good when the author responds to comments. Unfortunately, too many authors ignore the problems and questions of users of their mods. You understood everything correctly, the notes are not visible on the ground, everything is fine on the tables and drawers. And if it's a game glitch, then obviously you can't do anything. Thanks again for your work, your mod is really good.

No worries Masterklass25, I would like to help you though, but not knowing what the problem is, makes it difficult for me to do something of course. If a note isn't visible, I'm almost thinking about a game glitch, where notes and journals are a bit sunken into the ground, there is nothing I can change about that. If that is not what you mean, sorry!

Isle of Siptah. I can't read the note on the ground because of the sign. The note is not even visible, only a sign. Can this sign be made smaller? The mod is useful and I would not want to refuse it. Thanks for your work.
