Concept: Making lore based journals and scrolls more visible and at the same time making player based journals and scrolls more visible. Also adding a fix for missing ghost animations, if you spot one missing (or better don't spot it) let me know and I will add them.




I tried removing the hard edit in the base file but this just keeps doing whatever it wants, so the dirty solution stays for now. I will keep looking for a solution that won't do this, but for now my sanity is more important and I edited the base asset again. If it breaks, I'll fix it. Again.

Mod Load Order as far as I know:
Shouldn't matter.

Funcom even showed it in one of their recaps of the year about mods ^^ Tbf, they didn't show the lore lighting up, but only the player ones, so I'm not sure if they knew it was more than that, but I was like, this is your own function guys :D

@Rowdy- 03 The fun fact is that it is in the vanilla code. It's just turned off by default. My edit is really only turning that setting on...

I just used this in SP after playing on a server. This should be part of the base game and all servers!

This won't load, when I sub to it, the gb size still says 0gb. So any suggestions? Also when I do a search for the mod name it will not come up either.

Addendum: Just had a brainfart, thought nothing else in my LO touched the Archive, but there's that one Katana mod that throws it's weapons in there. Maybe I'll try loosing that one for a go.

EDIT: Yeah, that was it. "Katanas and other weapons" messes with it too. I have all 30 vanilla ones, but this one makes it keep rolling empties.

Yo, this Archive-bug isn't just your mod. Must be others messing with this part of the game too.

Been rebuilding my mod setup & character in-game, after the rig froze and it wrecked my save & entire game thoroughly. Just went to the Archives to get my knowledge up to par again to pre-crash levels after collecting ~50 fragments.

Deactivated your mod before I went in, but still it wouldn't work right. Tells me "You already possess this knowledge", then the second one pops up saying "You got a new scroll".

But there is nothing new in inventory, and just to check I slapped the fragments on my hotbar so I could see the numbers - and sure enough, it kept counting down, but gave me no scrolls. Now mind you, I never played this far into the game without mods, I have no idea if this indeed vanilla behaviour, but reading the wiki it shouldn't act like this.

I'll throw your mod back in myLO now, with glownotes active at least I get duplicate scrolls for souvenirs^^.

Yeah, gotcha. As per the usual, 99 outta 100 cases of a mod not working as intended, itz the users fault. NOT the mod's or itz author's. I did not RTFM, and even dumber, I did not drag the updated 2.0.1 file over to my CE mod folder. Apologies.

Gotz other issues atm, something weird is going on with my game, NPCs (mostly the human ones) just won't spawn at times.

Itz strange walking through Sepermeru at night when itz entirely devoid of people...frikking Ghost Town. Found that I can usually resolve it by just admin-teleporting a few steps, then they'll spawn in, but itz weird. And creepy.

Read the updates notes, I just returned to the old situation wíth the newest devkit, so the effect is the same ánd the new mechanics are in there too ^^

Could you then re-upload the old one that was working (apart from eso library) in the meantime, with a disclaimer about the bug maybe?
Still better to have it with glow everywhere else, can just disable iffen one wants to waste some frags at the archive, and re-actiavte after....
