All due respect.
Were all 3,000 of your hours in TF2 played with your monitor turned off?

You are really talented my guy, but those weapons just not much fitting Into TF2, It's mostly because of there's really lots of details on It. TF2 weapons Itself most of times, using less details, and more looks cartoonish, big and wacky. I hope you will listen to me, because you have potential Indeed!
Bat-Mite 12. juli 2023 kl. 22:22
Looks cool, but I doubt it will be added for it may make things unbalanced. You might get it as a sniper smg if you're lucky. (Could be wrong, but that's what it looks like to me.)
The Very Hungry Caterpillar 7. juli 2023 kl. 12:22
Counter Terrorists Win!
I <3 Speed! 7. juli 2023 kl. 8:06
lower the detail but i would actually play scout if he had a full auto weapon
MyxeBerry 6. juli 2023 kl. 12:52
very cool
Hazzmat 5. juli 2023 kl. 10:58
great model... but its not a good fit for scout and its a bit too high-def for TF2

You seem to have wandered into the wrong place while looking for some other game, this is the Team Fortress 2 workshop.
yes #Fixtf2 4. juli 2023 kl. 2:29
an auto primary for a class that doesn't have an auto primary already is a sin against this game's game design also WAY TOO MODERN
BlueSquid! 3. juli 2023 kl. 19:43
The XM177 would have been a way better weapon to make since it was made in the 1960s and is basically the M4A1 of that time period
ALI=3NS 3. juli 2023 kl. 18:55
would love this for a custom gamemode
Grumpy Morning Blues 3. juli 2023 kl. 18:21

Frisk 3. juli 2023 kl. 15:35
Not sure if this fits for the scout, but I LOVE the model for this!
Mr. Moron (but spooky) 3. juli 2023 kl. 13:09
way too modern imo. It's a great model, but just doesn't fit TF2
andros 3. juli 2023 kl. 12:38
looks cool
MrCat 3. juli 2023 kl. 11:58
call of fortress 2
Nut buster 3. juli 2023 kl. 8:04
This is a good model, however it doesn't fit into tf2. The artstyle is different and the m4a1 was produced in 1991 while tf2 is set in early 70s
phil_holes48 3. juli 2023 kl. 2:42
bro i pressed next in queue, left, came back, and thought "how tf did i get in the cs:go workshop"
MF Paz. 3. juli 2023 kl. 2:06
Good thing the developers will never add weapons to the game ever again...don't get me wrong, the model and textures are amazing dude, well done but...this REALLY ISN'T a TF2 weapon, besides, doesn't fit scout at all...

But keep doin 3D work, you really have future with this
Grimlock 2. juli 2023 kl. 23:08
Doesn't fit TF2 obviously.... but a damn gorgeous model of the M4
Quinn the Maid of Rage 2. juli 2023 kl. 22:28
As much as this wouldn't fit into TF2, you still make absolutely wicked models! Like seriously I'm pretty sure Gmod and SFM people are gonna be eating good.
SlimPickens 2. juli 2023 kl. 19:51
i don't think you ever expected for this to be in game and is more just a cool concept/model showoff and these commenters seem to not get that. honestly i think if it was downsized a little looking like a carbine type gun and some more cartoonish polish it might be a good serious gun within the tf2 universe. overall though ignoring the tf2 style its still a solid model LMAO.
Extra Ram 2. juli 2023 kl. 19:46
You're clearly a really passionate modeller with an eye for detail, but this really doesn't fit the style of TF2 at all, as others have said.

I really think you should look into developing your craft further and look into getting work somewhere in the gamedev world; it feels like a creative skill that's going to waste for trying to force real-world and detail-heavy firearms into a game as simplistic & stylised as Team Fortress 2.

Branch out into the industry, man, put this modelling work to good use!
raza 2. juli 2023 kl. 17:43
This would be a fun playstyle if it was added, I could see it as a more refined Nail Gun, but what do I know? I wanna see more of this!
DudeTheNinja 2. juli 2023 kl. 17:37
(oops, wrote an essay in the comments of a workshop submission! it's more likely than you think.)
DudeTheNinja 2. juli 2023 kl. 17:36
I know you made this because you felt like it, but I will still give some constructive criticism as I can tell you're passionate about making and animating custom weapons and I want to see you make something truly undebatably awesome that properly fits with the game you're trying to make stuff for.

It's a really well-made model, but I feel it, like a lot of your other weapons, is just way too finely-detailed for a standard TF2 model, and the texturing is very flat too. TF2's textures have visible brush strokes, even on normally super-clean military designs (see: the AWPer Hand, the closest to a realistic weapon put into TF2).

I'd also say the model detail is too fine. The handguard looks way too detailed and realistic (what with all the holes in it), and the furniture (handguard AND stock) looks WAY too modern, even for a weapon originally designed only a decade (give or take a couple years) after TF2 is set. Maybe replace them with a more chunkier plastic design.
DudeTheNinja 2. juli 2023 kl. 17:36
Thirdly, try to make the weapon fit the class you're making it for. You say this is a Scout weapon, but I don't see the Scout in standard gameplay using a 5.56 NATO calibre assault rifle in either slot, even with some plausible deniability. If you ever revisit this weapon, maybe consider a pistol-calibre design? AR-platform pistols do exist (at least I think), replace the stock with a buffer tube and shorten the barrel, and boom, a pistol sidegrade that prioritises accuracy in combat that has ranges that pistols will do well in but shotguns don't.

Or just keep doing what you're doing in terms of making ridiculous weapons. It's fun to see, your models are very well-crafted, and you enjoy making them regardless of others' opinions, and to that I salute you.

(Again, these are hopefully-constructive criticisms from a "putting this into TF2" perspective. As a custom mod weapon for non-serious usage, this is extremely high-quality and well-made and I like it.)

@Stefano(AvailableForCommissions) YES!!! My biggest fan commented!!!!
Stefano (BackToGetCommissions) 2. juli 2023 kl. 16:08
It doesn't feet with TF2 style at all. Also, you can't even replace it with any Scout's gun.
Lítau 2. juli 2023 kl. 15:05
it's a genius idea: make tf2 look like counter-strike so valve starts to care about it
Broccoli Dood 2. juli 2023 kl. 15:03
Finally, a gun
Mar (Garfunkle) 2. juli 2023 kl. 14:26
I can tell a gun nut made this as a joke. Good work, very funny.
♧VelvetZero♤ 2. juli 2023 kl. 14:09
Man made a csgo skin lol, its good but not tf2 good
Sam D. Wich 2. juli 2023 kl. 12:19
Nice modelling work but not fitting for TF2, either in model or texture style
