Cautious Leader and Reckless are more like personality traits.

@ProfDrHamster I just thought both Cautious Leader and Reckless were both mediocre traits to start with.

may I ask why reckless and cautious leader cannot be learned ? too strong ?

Thank you for this mod. I hated how I get random commander traits .. like .. supplyer = I steamroll everything .. winter soldier = why .. why does this even exist

Are you teaching every knight the commander trait?

I understand, event chain is complicated
But can you at least make it cost money or prestige instead of teaching a 1000 individuals in one pause and one mouse click?

I don't know how to implement something like that.

Can you make it harder to teach someone that traits I possess as a player?
Maybe by making them cost money or prestige, or by event chains with propabilty of failure?

I'm boggled what causes the ctd's mind you, I haven't dug into your mod very deep. I have many mods with custom character interactions. It's the custom ones thankfully I don't have to patch.

This mod defo causes crashes. I used to use it, and experienced the same as reported.

@Tyrion Lannister Does the mod list have other character interactions? Since this mod has a new category for character interactions.

Not entirely sure which mods exactly this mod may be conflicting with (or if it's just broken) but this mod is causing crashes when right-clicking lovers after about 60 years. There is another player that I saw post having a similar issue (He'd crash when right-clicking rulers) and your mod was in his playlist as well. I can send you a list of the mods I use if you'd like to see it.

The way you're calling your on_actions will overwrite the vanilla ones. Modded on_actions should be called like this:

vanilla_on_action = {
on_actions = {
my_mod_on_action
}
}

my_mod_on_action = {
#do stuff here
}

@mcstud77 I found a way to do that, just got to work on the localization part.

Any chance you could make this a single decision, which opens a submenu that then shows all the available traits to pick from? As a large court, the decisions menu becomes really cluttered with all the trait options.

Yes I've waited. Anyway I started new game and already learned one trait and another trait(2nd) I'm learning - flexible leader :)

So when you are given the option to learn "Flexible Leader" do you wait for the event to show? Since the main decision doesn't auto add the trait.

I've encountered a bug. The only trait I can learn is "Flexible leader" and after it I try to learn it again. Even if my character succeed I don't get another "Flexible leader" perk. The desicion is bugged for me for sure because I've tried it about ten times. Will try out in a new game and type about it

The hard limit is three commander traits. So it is best to waste prestige to learn the commander traits you want. @Smiling Knight

Because I've learned all three terrain traits and cannot learn any new military traits.

@Harry the Unlucky can you explain please. Maximum of military traits that can be learned is 3, right? They include terrain expert traits or they don't count them?

They will, they will have a chance to see the a few of the decisions.

It is a random trait from the list of commanders you have. You do not instantly get the trait, it shows the event to learn under someone else.

I've resubsribed to your mod and now I have desicion "Train under guidance of a mentor" for 75 prestige. Seems like I'll get random trait and I can't choose. Also, it seems I wont get trait instantly and it will take time.

Well yes. Aggressive attacker,logistician etc. Maybe because I'm instantly in army or travel? But still I don't see any desicion(if there would be - maybe it would not just be availible?).

They are vanilla traits, correct?

Alright so I have a lot of knight with military traits and still cannot learn those traits from then. I don't see an option

@Harry the Unlucky I still don't get it. I recruited character with "Aggressive attacker" "Rough terrain expert" and "Reckless" and I still cannot learn any of this trait. Tho I've learned "Holy Warrior" from the start and "Reaver"(after I got "Raider" trait)

@Smiling Knight You can learn up to three traits. As long as you have commanders with other commander traits you do not have you can learn them.

@Harry the Unlucky is it possible to learn more than one trait? Also is it possible to learn some other warfare traits like aggressive attacker or unlyielding defender and not only terrain traits?
