I don't have contact, as I imagine many don't, so I don't know what the ' default' ones are. An actual indication would help.

@DMZ yes, 3 of the vests are retextures, its not marked as "Requiring contact" because it does not require contact, you can use this mod without it just fine.

Also, the 'new vests are _still marked_ as requiring contact, hence why my message. Perhaps I did not explain clearly.

Multiple of your vests under Features, show as needing Contact to even play.

@DMZ it very much does say what vests are new, under "Features". Expecting the vanilla vest variants to not be contact DLC when the description even says that this mod is not made to circumvent DLC and that no asset would be remade 1-1 is just you not understanding the description

Multiple of your vests have Contact DLC as a requirement, which isn't marked on this workshop page. Perhaps useful to adjust the description and mention this.

@Rogeriforloki modders tool, if you config the vest it has selections for it, its if you have the mod as a dependancy for your own. each patch has to be configured on its own

May someone explain how are you supposed to add patches to the vests, cause insignias don't show up on them at all.

@Broken condom no, it's designed to work with texture templates for the modular carrier rig in the vanilla game. A new pouch wouldn't work. You're only like the 20th person to ask.

@grave yes, of course, I will certainly add it as a dependency of your mod and I will not re-upload it. However, I'm not knowledgeable about scripting. I've never seen this type of script model in the config.bin file before. I can open the PAA file, for example, of the black vest and modify and add the patch. However, I can't find a way to create and add more vests. Is there any tutorial that you could help me with to do this for my group? Thank you in advance for your understanding and time!

@Ferreira you will have to add a new vest for each member with a name tag. As for the patches all 3 have a different hidden selection. You can find base textures for the name tag and patch in the PBO. to clarify, do not re-upload this mod or it's content the textures provided are to be used in a mod that uses this one as a dependancy.

@FoxFort the textures in this are just textures from E22, no edits, the black vest in E22 is used by naval infantry/security. At some point in the future i was going to redo all of the vest textures, but there is no date for this. you can retexture them yourself if you have the know-how, the mod is APL-ND but if you have it as a dependency you can replace the black textures.

Would you be open to change black texture just a bit?
It looks a bit too clean, too new, when used in mix with other vanilla gear. Perhaps a touch of more brightness? For example using vanilla black balaclava on the face, the vest looks brand new. Also more dark ingame due to how A3 handles lighting. So perhaps a bit more bright just to make it a bit sun faded fabric.

@Matekosh if you need a base colour i would recommend checking out the Arma 3 Aegis repo, as they are better base colour files
