why is the north rotated?

@Milanfur The devs said they are going to add more flavor for Central America, and that the update should come out before October.

there is a guy who made the ''ATE - The Empire in the Clouds'' mod he has inca headwear models, maybe you could consider joining up since he already made some stuff for the inca. assuming you guys want to go that far down south(the map frame as it is now does suggest you want to).

If you want to go up north there was the ''Amerindian steppe tribe'' mod who already has a lot of plains and some woodland indian clothing ready.

you guys propably already know of them, but maybe not and you'll be able to get some models that would make your lives easier.

The map is horizontal because the After the End team ran into errors making the map too tall for the map editor to load it

you can flip the map so its normal, no need to freak out. my best guess as to why they made it horizontal could be based off of mayan and aztec maps.

Hence my question : "why". This is something we are totally not accostumed to (as proves the character picker startscreen in the mayan lowlands, which is proper north oriented). Maybe it's a design choice, or maybe a technical limitation (many modders believed in earlier version that it was not possible to change the map size for example, although it proved possible in the end)

Why using a horizontal mexico instead of a vertical one ? It's totally possible to change the size / sense of the map (tested as a modder)

@BlackGenetics we won't be adding any cotton aroumrs for now simply because we don't have a 3D artist on the team, so we only occasionally get to comission some pieces. And no, women are naked because in most areas they historically wore only short skirts and we got no better way of representing it for now.
