I'm not really sure, there is many names for them, mostly I just heard "Weird map" or "weirdcore"
or just "hangout" kind of map, or trading map but I don't think there is really a specific word exactly for them as far as I know

Sure, I use env_soundscapes with custom soundscript file in your "scripts" folder, in this case for hikikomori mall, it was "soundscapes_hikikomori_mall_a4" which I used to play music instead of usual sounds they would be used for

Example of one in the soundscript would be like this for each song:

"mall.song1"
{
"dsp" "0"


"playlooping"
{
"volume" "1"
"wave" "#hikikomori_mall/music_YMCA_clean.mp3"
}
}

I think"dsp 0" is what makes it fade in but I may be wrong, that could just be a default thing for source engine.

Remember to add # at the start of a song so it acts as music (which lets you change the volume in options menu too!)

if you dont mind, how did you set music to play contained in certain areas and smoothly fade in/out? been trying to figure it out and i just cant!

The cartoony furniture? They were originally made for a VRChat world I made called "Slop & Slime" Which you can check out if you want to see them all how it meant to be!
I made each of them in Blender, and used Paint.net/Krita to do the scribbly textures for it.
The rest is just using Crowbar decompiler + Blender source tools to export into TF2

i like this map, full of mistery, is big, a lot of traps, good ost, full of static/png NPCs, memes and digital art.

full of slime girls, heavies, stanleys, pizza tower "things" and pixelated girls

i would like to be a part of that but i lack of quality and creativity, aniways 10/10 the map, i still need to find the secrets and fun/scary stuff.

can you make a nav mesh for this map, it doesn't seem to be Lambda Players supported, or the nav mesh is broken if there was one.

Not sure, sounds like you didn't do it properly then, it should simply be download tf2 then mount it in gmod menu.

Do you have the props in gmod that you can spawn in sandbox mode? If not, that means you didnt do it right

Yes it says in description you need to Team Fortress 2 to play this, as it uses models and textures from it.
