I wouldn't expect this mod to work perfectly because it's not updated yet ( probably next week) but if you're getting graphical glitches it's probably other mods, this doesn't actually introduce any new graphics it just borrows the existing ones.

This mod is in such bad shape that it’s practically unusable. Most features don’t work, and when you try to create a character using the nudity option, you end up with a broken, glitchy appearance the head and arms are merged together, full of errors, with distorted pixels showing everywhere

It is working, but game is crying that this is outdated. But, I am not the modder, I don't know if it is save and stable.

Will this get updated? (I know I keep asking this question but I want to know.)

Yeah, same thing. I don't know, last time I looked fixing it would require me to learn exactly how EPE does genes which would be a lot of work, I'll have a look in Jan/Feb and see if EPE has changed anything to make it easier.

I'm getting a CTD with EPE as well. Is that due to the same thing you mentioned in your last comment? Would it be possible to get a compatch for that, or is that asking too much of your time?

It is. The way the game handles different appearances for races is now incompatible with changes to ruler designer clothes. Can't do anything about it except for a mod specific comppatch.

this mod seems to be incompatible with "elf destiny", everytime i try to enter the ruler desinger the game CTDs.

This mod is next up, probably in the next few hours, it won't be compatible pre 1.13 once updated, so grab the version for 1.12 from the Github if you need it and get it configured.

Just tested and I disabled the safe genes and now the stuff works well. It seems if these three mods on the crash inevitable, the toggle nudity + EPE works well now, at least not crashed now when I started costumize the head.

I will try it since only these three mods there for character costumization. I have no git or other sources maybe pastebin but not used long ago to locate the error. I will try the suggested things soon.

Yes, I've tested EPE + Spouse Designer by itself without Safe Genes Unlocked and there's no crash there (it's only when EPE + Safe Genes Unlocked that there's a problem). I haven't tested Ruler Designer - Nudity Toggle but the only change from the base game for this mod is the addition of the check box and some code to check it's state, so it shouldn't cause issues.

If you want to supply a screenshot of this not working I can try and work out what the error is.

If you could test with only this mod active then this mod + EPE active , that might help isolate the issue

I removed 2 mod that may confronting with the EPE one was natural beauty second was fair people mod. The mod you made works on toggle nudity, works on basically all, even body costumization is fine the only thing triggers the crash if I try the head & neck option. The rest of your mod is works fine on EPE. I do not know what option needs to be able to time to time check the people with no clothes. That kills the purpose of costumization if you see your character on a sack cloth all time so you cannot see changes. I sadly cannot mod it myself to be an option to take off the clothes on normal game play. Six or so months ago it worked fine even without this mod but something changed. Also somehow (not sure what causes or intended) but all the persian branch of people are naked and bald, also the finnish people looks more asian than actual asian people.

The Safe Genes Unlocked mod is incompatible with EPE which is what's causing the crash there.

For the nudity toggle:
That sounds like another mod is overwriting the Ruler Designer window, I am unsure which mod is responsible unfortunately.

I have an issue with this mod. I removed the spouse designer (it did not worked in any way) and readded this mod and it works until I try to costumize further the character. Namely I am crashing when I try the head and face features. Seemingly the rest of the mod works but not sure what cause the crash. Even cannot find the crash log file because I have 3-4 place where the game may save it. I am also using the EPE mod but there there is no toggle nudity.

Yeah, the naked in this is the same as the nudity doctrine in game, which includes the leaf.

Mods occasionally get removed if they remove the leaf (I assume it's a Paradox thing since it doesn't violate Steams ToS as long as it's appropriately tagged and the very inconsistent moderation suggests that too ), so I won't be doing that.

I've had a look now and seems like it's a relatively easy fix, need to update Spouse Designer too, should upload the fix sometime in the next 24 hours.

Last time this happened, you fixed the problem with a small change.Because it's too bad not being able to see it while adjusting its physical appearance during character creation.

Hmm. Probably, the modification made here is fairly minor so a comparability patch wouldn't be too hard but my schedule is pretty full at the moment so it might be a while.

Is there a way to get this to work with the better ui scaling? I use better UI Scaling for the numbers in the ruler designer, but I lose the nudity toggle

No. Although it's not particularly consistent mods that remove the Fig Leaf do get delisted pretty commonly so it won't be being added. There's also nothing to see, it's doll anatomy underneath.

I'm not going to officially support EPE compatibility but I've made a change that should allow them to work together for now at least.
