Classes="Trans-Am-Golden-Era-('68-'72), TrAm-Dodge -Challenger" - there is a space between Dodge and -Challenger, making this car a own class
I've driven test sessions in a Dissenter against these, and each of these against the Dissenter. Any nuance is so minute you cannot discern comparing side by side other than on ovals as these are strictly road course. Anyway...
This is where I left it and it appeared to be removed.

Reposting;
Other than what was referenced with the .hdv, which, imo, when looking at the direct comparisons, doesn't really equate to much. I'm just not entirely convinced that a damper with the exact same values changed from '4 Click' settings to '2 Click' settings is dramatically changing an entire car's complete behavior. Many of the changes are of small type things like that. A Brake Pedal pressure setting from changed from 16 increments to 20. Changes like this are not dramatically altering performance. 1/2

Right there. They say exactly what I have been saying.
The only real variance is in the .hdv. To me, most of the differences in comparisons come down to a 2 clicks difference on a certain adjustable part or whatever small things like that. I guess this can equate to BOP among cars. Everything else really seems near identical. Idk. Observation and driving experience comparing the two.
Don't mean to be a buzzkill. You all realize that the physics everyone is raving about is the ISI Howston Dissenter and its tire model. Nothing was changed except for some mass and inertia values, and the odd tiny values in the HDV files for the trackbar setting ranges. While the engine is ever so slightly different in the power curve the horsepower is about the same ranging from lowest, the Javelin 403hp, to the Challenger and Mustang at 468hp/469hp. Everything else is Dissenter. Tires .tbc and .tgm, gears.ini, chassis.ini, .hdv
Other than engines, everything else is also identical from car to car.
You are driving a Dissenter (1974 Ford Maverick) so, of course it drives well and properly mimics a car from this era. The car models are just nicer and the sounds are different. Perception is an interesting thing.
With some polishing it will be better than any addon that some 'studios' asks money for!
Physics are so good. FFB - awesome! So much feel and control over what's happening and no noise, so no need in smoothing/filtering.
P.S. I'm in love with it! Thanks to creators of this mod.
Thank you so much!
