@doherty0182 That’s a shame, In the meantime do you care if I or anyone else for that matter takes a crack at updating it. I’ve recently gotten into modding and would love to atleast make the armor female compatible

@SmartAlec 01. Not for a very long time buddy, I'm swamped with another modding project and I can't divert any time towards other things for the time being. This was mainly supposed to be a learning project to see how other game engines work for the most part. When I've completed the project I fully intend to revisit this and radically overhaul it since I've learned a lot since its initial creation.

Any chance a mod update is coming soon? love the set but would love to equip it to females or potentially have variants.

Nice. Take your time. It's very hard to find armor that is close to accurate medieval style here, especially when no one has ever bothered to put in German Gothic style armor.

@Гражданин ЁМАЁ I did originally model the full design as shown in the photo, this was more of a learning experience for me bridging into other software and a different game engine and had a limited amount of time to create it during that period. I've learned a lot since then so when I'm not bogged down with other projects I will revisit this and incorporate what I've learned to create what was originally intended

For my taste, your design sooo needs hip armor and a greatcoat, or something like an armored rag skirt and sturdy pants, isn't that the whole flavor? The back of the helmet should be pulled back, down and sides more, and the gaps on the sides should be sealed, otherwise the neck completely unguarded. Body armor is very good, and the kneecaps seem very appropriate.

@Kurteous not at this moment in time. I've been too swamped with dev work for Galaxy at war (star wars conversion mod for men of war assault squad 2). when I have finished I will revisit and overhaul this as I've learned a lot since initially creating this armour.

So, is this still being worked on at all? Would be a real shame for it to die without some improvements.

I love armor mods like this, its somewhat advanced but still suitable in a kenshi environment. Figured to show my appreciation for this. Wished there were more mods like that. Or unique stuff you can find in ruins.

@doherty0182 that's fine its not actually an issue by itself and I was able to adjust the numbers a bit myself.
Good work on the mod though.

@JFrancis64 I'm not aware of there being a way to reduce the spawn chance of the armour in shops however there is the ability to choose what shops they spawn in. I chose for them to be available in all armour shops across the map for players so they can get it wherever they choose to start the game.

Seems like a decent enough armour. No actual complaints with the items themselves but, the spawn rate for some of the shops seems a bit high compared to vanilla armours and may need a bit of readjusting in the vendor lists so they don't flood shops.

@SpaceAce I keep the proportions on most of the sliders around 100 with maybe 95-80 on arms and legs, reason being is when the character has max strength they usually bulk up a lot.

Could I ask what body proportions you used for the character wearing the armor?

@Friendlygermansoldat329 That's the reason why; I wrote in the description upon the mods release that the mesh hasn't been rigged for the female skeleton yet. But to put it another way the armour doesn't currently work for females.

I think it was incompatible with something in my mods list, it made it crash and when I put it on it was there was nothing on. But my hair disappeared when I put he helmet on.

@Hati. Oh thanks dude I didn't consider translations. Honestly anyone is welcome to do what they want with the mods files, doesn't matter if they want to add it to one of those bigger mods like UWE, patches or even use the model to make their own variants. I'm happy as long as it's not exploited for commercial use and I get mentioned and credited for making the model.

Do you think you could nerf the weather resistance to maybe 50 or 75 overall?

@friendlygermansoldat319 The pants also go well with the southern hive armour variant from hives expanded. Can give your hiver's a nice merc/bounty hunter look since its quite difficult to find nice pants for them.
