Just to be clear, does the culture spread work with any primary culture or just europeans? I like to go colonial with some Non-Europeans (i.e. Japan) and I just wanna be sure :)

Question, can the the Province names across the New World for France, England/GB, Castile/Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Chinese nations borrowed from the New World Colony Names mod be toggled off. I like to use the "Dynamic Province Names for the Entire World" mod and im pretty sure it will cause some interference with province names with this mod if I use it.

This mod causes crashes with other mods, especially ones that actually make any real changes to the diplomatic tech tree.

It seems a bit overkill that you'd have to replace the entire tech tree for one line's worth of changes at dip tech 7 (-25 colonial range vs vanilla).

To test this, if you'd like, you could install Harb's development mod and try mousing over any of the new buildings that are normally unlocked at diplomatic tech levels, and it'll immediately CTD. In the building manager it doesn't cause the crashes, but you can't build them as they never unlock.

I don't know if this has been said yet but India is being assimilated to dutch because of the VOC that the Netherlands can release.

Uh i found out that if i run the mod with Historical Colonies on it crashes the game as soon as i select a start date later than about 1650

@Immortal Zek i fixed those issues within the mod, though I have to warn you its probably incompatible with major overhaul mods.

Ok so I figured out that it was a problem of one of the submods I had for that mod which was causing the issue. Now it pops up, and hopefully it will pop up when getting those regions. I will say that for some reason boer and amerikaan is not capitalized. Not sure how to fix that. Also, in your mod, amerikaan is also not capitalized.

Well when I was putting in boer and amerikaan into their 00_culture.txt it was not popping up in game. I copied over what the boer and amerikaan section has in it. The whole section each. Is there something I am missing?

@Immortal Zeki you would have to go through Extended Timeline's cultural files and manually add each culture from this mod's culture file.

So i tried with just your mod and can see them even when playing brandenburg. when i tried to add them to the cultures file of extended timeline, it wont show up for some reason.

Well I am trying to add them to extended timeline, but they are not popping up in the cultures for it, specifically germanic ones. unless it is because I was viewing it from brandenburg and not the netherland countries.

Sufet is right, I have not seen an amerikaan in the cultures file. Loaded a game, and didn't see an amerikaan part of the culture group either.

Mod is Incompatible with "Idea Variation", which seems to be because it modifies Ideas without saying so, not sure if this will be worked on anymore, so I will resolve it on My end at least

Amerikaans culture for Dutch America dosn't exist in the files my colony switched to No Culture instead of the dynamic culture, seems to only be missing the Dutch American culture as Boer does appear in the files.

@Hitzeblitze its to adjust the rate at which colonization happens, if you don't like those changes you can go into the mod files and delete them and your other mod should work again

Is there a particular reason this mod messes with idea groups? When I added it, all "Idea Groups Expanded" idea groups were removed from everybody and from the game itself. A real shame, since I like most of this mod, but this fact breaks it for me. :bummer::mortis:

I will not be changing this mod to be compatible with specific other mods. As stated in the description, this mod is intended to be played with vanilla EU4, and any incompatibilities are not my responsibility.

You are welcome to make a fork of the mod yourself that works with a mod you would like it to, but it would be unreasonable to try and edit the mod to work with every single other mod. Sorry.

@C2troy4 there is a mod conflict with your mod and Scourge of Empires, it causes mission trees that you have changed to appear muddled and difficult to read. I'd appreciate it if you'd look into this problem and try to fix it :)

@TSDM there is definitely new cultures, if you want to look through the 00_cultures file you will see the ones listed in the mod description.

Not sure if the cultures are in this version of the mod properly? In the files there is only 00_cultures, which doesn't contain any of the new ones.

@Pyro_Teknik if you know the provinces in which the natives you want to restore reside at game start, go into the mod's provinces folder (file path is Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > workshop > content > 236850 > 2982133388 > history > provinces). Once you're there, just delete the province files for whatever natives own that territory in basegame to restore them. This process may revert upon updating the mod.

Quick question, don't answer it if you don't want to, but, would there be a way for me to adjust this mod for just my game to re-ad a few specific native tags? A couple of them are triggering me with their lack of existence, but I have no idea how to fix it without in-game commands.

I think I had one of your events pop up for my colony as the Dutch in South Africa, there was something up with the picture for the event but now the culture has changed to "No Culture", is this intended or a bug? thanks.
