grateful if you could include it in your next update
Once again, giving a heads up that a 1.10 update will take a while, if needed.
Anyone who's checked my Steam profile in the past month will probably know that I got hit by the Umamusume train and have been playing it almost nonstop since June, so apologies for any past and future delays since I'm probably going to keep playing it 😅
FYI: I keep an mod update tracker on Discord, and since 1.9, I started keeping a copy of it in the description of my Vic3 mods collection . If you're not on the Vic3 Mod Co-op Discord, then you can view the update status there instead so you know which mods are currently being worked on and which ones are slated for an update.
Are you able to post pictures somewhere? I'm in the official Vic3 discord & the Vic3 Mod Co-op discord servers if that's most convenient
maybe his original westernized outfit (the black coat and brown waistcoat) looks more dignified.
the current version looks like a military officer's attire.
what do you think of it?😀
Comparing the modded one with Emperor Meiji's image after 1868 in the original game,
I find that the hairstyle of Meiji is changed into a rounded haircut after Westernization in your mod. But I think the original hairstyle may fit him better(which looks like a crew cut).
And I think the original westernized outfit of Meiji has more of the royal aura of an emperor.
I assume that emperors after Meiji(such as Taishō and Shōwa) may also have this issue.
Would you be willing to modify it? Thank you very much.😀
WCR tries not to interfere with "pre-westernized" characters or pops (i.e. anyone who's already considered westernized, so Europeans and the like). The base game also does not provide late game uniforms for anyone besides the US, Great Britain, France, Russia, and Persia/Iran.
Without any additional context, it sounds to me like what you're seeing is that WCR-westernized countries are receiving custom late game uniforms (assuming you have SoI and the appropriate game rule enabled) since that is driven by the mod, and most of the Europeans don't get anything because WCR intentionally avoids messing with them and the base game doesn't have anything for them, so there's just a gap in coverage.
Can you tell me which country you are seeing this happen in?
What other mods do you have? Neither COM nor the Korea Uniform Pack mods add traditional Korean hats for the king or non-military pops.
Hello! Thank you for the great mod.
However, in my case, both old-style and new-style outfits appear overlapping, as shown in the link.
I am currently using both the Community Outfit Mod and the Korea Uniform Mod.
I tried disabling both and running only the WCR mod, but the same issue still occurred.
With WCR installed & with the default settings, completing the Honorable Restoration as Japan will no longer automatically westernize your country.
Instead, you must start westernizing using the "Begin Westernizing" decision. With the default settings for WCR, you will be able to bypass the normal restrictions because you've completed the Honorable Restoration. You get to start westernizing for free because you completed the journal, essentially.
This behavior can be changed in the game rules to either exclude Japan (and Korea since they have a similar thing) from WCR, letting them instantly westernize as soon as the Honorable Restoration is complete, or remove the free pass from completing the Honorable Restoration and forcing you to do it the normal way.
WCR allows Japan to use their unique ("""unique""") uniforms that the base game makes them use when the Honorable Restoration is completed.
It's not anything particularly special - they're basically just the French uniforms but slightly tweaked.
If you want something actually cool though then I highly recommend checking out the Japanese Uniform Pack by Miss Duce, which is also built to work in conjunction with WCR.
What setting did you set it to?
Thanks for the find; I'll make a note to fix it.
There shouldn't be any issues with the decision to start westernizing & westernized executives should now be properly dressed.
There's also a bunch of minor fixes & tweaks - please check the change log for the full list.
Let me know if you spot any issues.
