Ah that makes sense so with trail cut out the breaking will be synced to the lead cut in locomotive if paired through the DPU

lead=controlling locomotive brakes, trail= passive, cut in = controlling colling stock brakes, cut out = passive towards rolling stock. The lead locomotive you are controlling from should be set to LEAD:CUT IN. All others should be set to TRAIL:CUT OUT

raise your monitor quality, its not that tolling, it says EOTD EMER. (AKA EOTD EMERGENCY), if an EOTD is equipped at the rear of the train it can be used to perform an emergency brake at the end of the train, activating the EOTD emergency brake will make this light up.

for some reason the screens are just lines idk why tho
