I hope changing the mod images twice didn't irritate you too much. The current image represents the mod much better.
I don't understand why SCS made steering so stiff on medium speed, lost count on how many times I crashed on tight turns and roundabouts.
@keshun: Try to set the sensivity to 1.00 and the nonlinear steering to 1.20+ in the controller settings. That should help
Using this mod on above of FRKN64 physics, you get a soft suspension in conjunction with acute driving control and optimal tilts/rolls
my settings
truck/trailer stab 70
cabin/susp stifness 20-30
torque sim 100
surface sim 30
barkin intens 100
I use only mods trucks, all of them have different characteristics and physics mods affect em in different ways.
In my opinion, the best option is a mod from FRKN64, if you want to get a realistic air suspension,
soft and smooth. But there is a problem that sometimes, especially on an empty vechicle, its weight seems insufficient, tilts or rolls are too large, steering becomes fuzzy and viscous, like plasticine. It is extremely difficult to configure a single mechanism of behavior, since the truck settings are registered individually
I changed the screenshot of my personal ingame settings for the physics and interior camera. This is NOT recommended and just an example.
You can use any settings you want...the mod works one way or another.
Happy Eastern !
I will adjust the cab movement for the next version 1.30 only for EU trucks, since SCS decided to introduce cab roll also for US trucks with version 1.54.
So US trucks in ETS2 will have cab roll with this mod, which is not realistic. But EU trucks need that feature, so ill keep that in the ETS2 version of my mod.
You can still use US trucks in ETS2, but expect some difficulties or strange cab behaviour.
I will open a feedback discussion after i released the v1.30.
Have fun and drive safely :)
Also...weiterhin viel Spass beim fahren :)
