I get that they probably made him one hand it to add to his goofy redneck nature, but this mod makes just as much sense given he pretty much grew up learning how to shoot guns, so it would make sense he know how to properly hold a pistol.

@I-キアナ_ハクフ-I whether the characters are modded or not, it will work. This mod edits animations only so its compatible with model replacers

@Xazced that was pointed out before too, believe me I tried fixing it, unfortunately that's the best I can do for now.

@Captain Jameson No, I didn't mean the turn speed, I meant that your turning animation itself is somewhat broken; Ellis will look and shoot to the right or left of where the crosshair is pointing and needs a moment to properly readjust himself if you aren't moving the camera.

It's kind of hard to explain, the best way to see what I mean is to load into a game with this animation and to fire a pistol in third person while slowly swaying the camera, you'll see that the animation isn't correctly aligned.

@Xazced adjusting that is beyond the scope of this addon so I suggest this workshop addon instead, you can use animation mods together with this one so they will work well with each other:

Could you fix the turning animation? It needs a second to adjust before you face where the crosshair actually is.

Rochelle has her own set of pistol animations, as of TLS.
Before she was just using Bill's pistol animations.(Even Pre-TLS tho, the pistol animation still had bugs.)

@Miles I remembered you requested Ellis to have different Rifle animations. Rise made one recently, you could use this mod instead if you want Ellis to have better Assault Rifle animations, I also personally use it as well so I would recommend it too

I'd be interested in this for Rochelle as well.
Just for Single Pistols.
But I do like her injured pistol animations, along with her idle_calm with them.

@Penetra ANOS 7000 Rochelle's single pistol animations were already based from Bill's, unless you're referring to the Dual Pistols animations she has (which I also think look kinda weird)

@Lebo hmm yeah it is weird, the shotgun anims are fixed but not the pistol ones, considering that aiming up and down with a pistol works fine, it is odd.

yeah i used it before as well. i turned it off as it added dynamicness to the survivors. even survivor legs has worldmodel turnrate. but yeah if i had that on before it'd look the same. what i said before about the turn thing. it effected the shotgun stuff when you first released it then it was fixed. im guessing you didnt notice that either?

@ketor With the way how things work in this game, The Magnum and Pistol share the same third person animations so I can't do much about that even if I wanted

Well Ellis is... you know Ellis, it would be cool if he held the two pistols differently but I'm pretty sure the Magnum and single pistol share the same code.

@OwO I always loved pump shotguns, make me sad to let them go, especially with the improved animation mods (including Rise's shotgun animations for Francis and Coach)

yea ngl, u leaving the calm animation of him having his gun up actually makes him look cooler when he starts pointing the gun foward ngl

also thanks to the pump shotgun fix mod i now cannot stop using pump shotguns, just because of how cool the recoil on third person looks, it feels like he's shooting a actuall shotgun and almost slipping the gun off his hands

@binary yeah I had that thought too, but I did leave his calm idle animations and left his dual pistol animations alone so there's still Ellis originals left
