Report a translation problem
Fixed windows are windows that do not have shutters.
I don't feel the need to make shuttered windows version because I think just use the wall.
Incidentally, I had experience trying to implement a window with a similar idea, so I knew the problems with it.
The window shutter function actually switches between two types of windows: glass window and window with shutters down.
So if make it the window you want (a window with shutters down that lets light through), that window will not be subject to the on/off shutter. It will be a permanently closed window.
That's probably not the window you want either. Sorry for the inconvenience... Thank you for your understanding.
Im using it with sliding doors no problems
I have confirmed that it does not conflict with Sliding Doors that adds the same window in game.
The only possibility is that the update or download of this mod has failed. Often Steam downloads broken files when you subscribe. The solution to this problem is to unsubscribe the mod and then re-subscribe again. Then, on the game start screen, open the Mod Manager, turn off enable for this mod and return to the start screen. This will remove the Mod from the list. Try opening the Mod Manager from the start screen again and turning the mod on.
The old mod cache will be deleted and the new data will be cached. Please try doing those things and see if that solves the problem. Thank you.
I tried to add this mod and couldn't get it to start a new game...
Any known mod conflicts?
you're welcome! I would be grateful if it helped.
I miss Zomboid. That game was a starting point where I started making translation mods.

Check out this translation guide and read "Unpack the mod to translate." There is metadata.lua in the unpacked folder, so please refer to it.
I also recommend reading "About extract of HPK files". thank you.
Oh Thank you! It would be great to be able to add Ukrainian translations.
If possible, I would appreciate it if you could share your translation files with us via GitHub, Google Drive, etc.
It is worth adding a Ukrainian translation. I can help with that.
I confirmed that this mod works with a new update version (Stranded: Alien Dawn - 1.21.231212).
- Added a note about window upgrades to the description.
Thank you Jaggid Edje, reported on this issue.
May need to re-load the save data and if the appearance has not yet returned. Windows may need to dismantle it and build again.
Vanilla windows and MOD windows have the same appearance texture, but as mentioned above, the contents are slightly different.
In the description, add the window closing before upgrading. Thank you for your concern.
It's the fact that my fixed frame windows don't all look the same is my concern. Not whether they are 'really" open or closed. It's just an issue when you "upgrade" other window types to that type. The appearance varies depending on the open/close state of the original window.
The questions reported are intentionally set to solve the problem that shelves or beds cannot be installed around the window if the window is not closed by default.
If set the window to be can open, it will not be able to install furniture around the window because the opening space of the window is secured.
The concept of this MOD is that furniture and the like can be adjacent to the window. Therefore, it is specification that the window is always "closed". Please understand. Thank you.
The windows do not have the open/close button when selected, but they do have a "closed" state. If you upgrade another type of window to these window types when they are closed, then the new window is permanently closed.
Switching blinds open and closed by the electrical system, like electric lights, was not possible, at least at the time of writing that description. I have not checked if this is possible in the last update.
At least, the newly added carbon windows in the latest update did not support opening and closing of the blinds.
I couldn't reproduce them with my skills, so I'll leave the smart window dream to other mod authors.
Am I correct that this is NOT a current feature of these windows? Is this something you're working on, or is it of the "not possible" variety?
Perhaps the developer's idea of glass windows is to let light into the room, so he does not envision placing furniture or other objects that would obstruct the light. This is a common interior design in model homes. However, I don't think there is enough space in the house (built by survivors with limited resources).
A new blind window (heat insulation) was added in the new game update the other day, but they could not install furniture.
No, it will work if added to saved data in the middle of the game. However, the premise research must be completed.
I would suggest saving the game and reloading once the window research is complete. It may take some time in-game for the newly added windows to be added to the menu.
- Added Spanish translation.
- Añadida traducción al español.
You're welcome! I hope you liked this.
- Added Russian and simple Chinese translation.
Spanish will be tomorrow. Please forgive me.
The Russian translation added this time was made with reference to vanilla translation, but there are some parts that are not confident. If you feel this is more natural, please comment and let me know.
- The translation of Japanese, Korean, and Polish in metal insulated windows has been added.
Russian, simple Chinese, and Spanish will be finished by tomorrow.

If there is a transparent window, start Mod Editor and try "Delete" the window with the developer command. We apologize for the trouble.
Sorry, one previous update had a problem with loss of contents. This was fixed by last upadate.
Please, try Resubscrib this mod and then toggling the mod on and off in the mod list. The latest mod should be applied. Thank you.
Thanks so much!
- Fixed the problem that the data had disappeared.
Thank you Ricardorc86 for your report.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
