hi sorry i need to figure out why, but it is going to take me some time as now i don't have much free time. Hopefully 1.2 comes out soon and the problem solves itself :(

If anybody could help, I actually want to add a graveyard for all your fallen companions. Also a mini mission where you have to deliver their corpses to this graveyard. So your dead companions’ memories weigh heavy upon your hearts.

@Ryn but thats the whole point. You worry about your soldiers, you dont want them to die. You’d rather surrender than do a crazy last stand. You dont want them to lose that expensive equipment that you bought. You have to be a good general for your loyal followers. But you also have to risk their lives. Soon you are going to recruit farmers and not equip them so that they are going to be there in the first line, expendable, taking the first hit and the arrows to protect your better troops. They will die. How will you sleep at night? How will you deal with the battle between your heart and your brain? Do successful generals go to heaven or to hell?

So yeah, this mod if played right adds a little bit more of a moral dilemma for players (good RPG element).

Ah I see! Ok that's kinda cool actually, Ijust hate having to worry about them on the battlefield, especially when they start out so underpowered

@Ryn well yeah thats the point. This mod makes the game more RPG, where you build your army up from scratch and buy weapons and horsesfor all your troops. Soon your former barmaid or street peddler becomes a real warrior, if they survive until then that is… it makes the game much harder

@Ryn Because their stats grow? Because the player might not want to run around the entire map just to fill out the companion slots? Why wouldn't I want to hire random NPCs?

My only issue us random NPCs have trash stats. Why would you want to hire random NPCs?

Just want to Thank you for making this and keeping it 1.1.5 also there are mods for Death for everyone including companions and lords or just death for you if you go below a certain HP level,
I use this mod in a collection of 76+ mods running together like a herd of buffalo
its available to public and i am trying to weed out mods that get updated

Hello Niko, sorry for never updating. I believe the issue I had was between Keep What You Kill and Recruit Everyone.

There were times when All of my companions items that they have equipped, and the enemy army's item would all be listed as earned loot. I realized that if I take all of the items then the game will crash.

Thankfully that bug doesn't happen all the time but it may be the case that I'll have to sacrifice my look for my game not to die every once and a while.

Do these "none-companion" companions have a variation of skills or are they all reated somewhat euqally?

Never did a companion playthrough, as i know myself and my need for control ...., i might die of bordom in micro hell, looking at every stat, giving every point there where it should be and equiping them individually .... . This mod sounds amazing, but i think i shouldn't hrhr

What do you mean? You have to walk up to them (if they are not a notable, I think) and start a dialogue.

To be fair, you didn't actually clarify your mod's title. 1.2 when I saw it I thought was the version of your mod, rather than the game itself, since you have three published versions on the workshop. 1, 1.1, and 1,2. This one for example could be titled better, such as: Recruit Everyone: Non-Beta Release, and your other one could be titled Recruit Everyone: Bannerlord Beta Release.

Yo thid mod is for 1.15. The most updated one is for 1.2 beta. There are breaking changes between the two.

Companions CAN die in bannerlord. If you somehow made them immortal, then I guess this mod overrides this setting. 🤷

No chance to die during battles in my settings, it should never happen yet it happened a 3rd time to me now.

jxy0724 no this mod doesnt affect death rate. Companions have a chance if death by default. However, it increases the lower the levek and especially the armor of the companion. You cant expect companions to survive by sending them in dirty rags into the fray

I just tried to install today on v1.15 and the game launcher says it is dependent on v1.2 or some such. Refuses to run.

HELLO 1.2 BETA PEOPLE !! I've managed to update it to 1.2. IT wasn't easy (for me, but actually for an experienced dev it would have been the easiest thing)

ok i checked it but it doesn't work for 1.2 beta unfortunately.

i'll try to figure out why

however many other mods i have dont work either for 1.2, so its hard to test

oh by the way maybe the reason that it works for some and doesnt work for others is that i ONLY use steam workshop mods. So this means that all my mods are automatically updated to correspond to the latest version of bannerlord. If you go to nexus mod and dont update manually your mods, then when the game updates, this can break some mods and create some sort of conflict.

for the 1.2 beta idk if it works ill check right now

Thanks for the response, I turned off bandit militia (it's a different mod on Nexus) doesn't seem like that was it.

I just going to completely turn it off for now and see what happens, I play with 30+ mods so it could be a bunch of things.

The only other mod I could think of that may be causing issues is bannerkings, but again we'll see.

@GrosNiko Thank you, honestly, this is an essential mod for any playthrough, but the last update broke my game even with it deactivated, but it gave me an oppurtunity to try the Bannerlord 1.2 beta so I downloaded that and will try again :)
