Hello, I have problems whan startng the mission i get no calssname for planes mix of all warning message and there are not enemy jets or heli at all. How to fix?

Combat still sounds fun and honestly if you do work on more support related tasks you’d probably need some other check boxes so players don’t end up being given a transport task in a air to air jet or something or vice versa with a non combat craft getting a bombing run target

Are the missions exclusively Combat oriented or is there also like Medvac or troop until/extol if your aircraft is capable of it?

Thank you - yes sometimes I like to dogfights against some of the most advanced stealth aircraft - other times i just want to bully some ww2 planes with amraam missiles

Yes very likely an issue due to careless copy/pasting this mission from the tanoa map at some point long ago

A much quicker way if you are in sp is to spawn the drone wherever with zeus, and control it whenever

You need to reset all missions for the new amounts to take effect

The script uses a config scraper that looks for certain keywords and base classes - i geared it to be able to use the base classes from the vanilla factions - sometimes mod makers like rhs dont use these same base classes as bis for no good reason.

If that is the case, set the spawn count of apc and mrap to 0 - some of the vehicles that are intended to be mrap may instead spawn with transport or tanks for example

Try getting out clearing the jet and spawning a new one. Also try the option to spawn from the air - maybe your plane it too big and is clipping the carrier?

Yes, spawn a drone with the jet spawner with crew inside (Important) - then go to arsenal grab a uav terminal. then you can link it to the drone and fly off. You can even then spawn jet later and control the uav from the plane

Can I ask what criteria the script uses for APCs and MRAPs? I find very few factions outside vanilla actually work for these.
Maybe one or two RHS factions work, but for example, playing with SOGPF, PAVN has BRT-40 and BTR-50, and MACV has the M113 and guntrucks, but none of these are detected as either APCs or MRAPs. Having to shoot 2035 vehicles takes some of the fun out of Vietnam piloting, I have to say.
So, is there anywhere I can edit a class or a config file or similar to designate what is an APC/MRAP?

It's lagging as hell, and I've set the enemy amount to the lowest, don't know if it's my Laptop's too trash or something wrong with the mission

This mission is on Altis, but the transport map is showing map for Tonga.

I have designed it so that if you unpack the mission, you can copy all of the files over, and all of the objects from editor to any map and it should work

thank you for the response it was actually automatic view distance that was on and the mod works really well and it's a lot like dynamic recon. Do you have some resources to recreate this mod with different maps with how to make dynamic scenarios and anything unique to this mod not found anywhere else that can be created for potentially a new dynamic cas mod series with more maps? I'm looking into making my own series potentially with maps you didn't use where I can also do fast flow for cas and not have to place enemies on the map.

This is an issue with the faction you set for planes and helicopters, the script cant find any valid aircraft to spawn for the faction so you need to choose another one

The enemies exist in the game regardless of how far you are away from it.
You want to adjust object view distance so that they will be rendered from that far away - try the game setting as well as the view distance menu in the mission

this is a great mod it really helps us getting into cas. do you also have enemies spawning only from 1km away when the aircraft is already too close to reorientate? do you know how to increase the enemy draw distance to 2-3 km? i've tried the video settings, but it's not really working.

Hello. Today we were playing this mission with a friend and discovered a problem - enemy planes and helicopters will not spawn. A message about an approaching enemy is played and it is immediately announced that the next wave will be in five minutes. The opponents themselves do not appear, there are no signals of an attack, except for air defense launches.

You may have some issue with a mod loaded - try playing the game without mods and add more mods until you get the problem

On dedicated server I'm still having lots of issues. It's almost impossible to respawn after death, and customizing what the enemy spawns seems broken (only option is "mix of all" and it seems to only chooses the most powerful units), and I also couldn't find an arsenal anywhere.

Yes, play the arma 3 helicopters tutorial to learn how to do it - i believe you do need to own the helicopter DLC

thank you very much, everything worked (the sequence of my actions that caused the error - I signed up for the mission and started playing without mods, exited and loaded 3 RHS mods - played for an hour again and exited, added 4 more mods JSRS, Blastcore Murr, CBA_A3, F / A-18E / F, played for a couple of hours and exited everything was without problems, the next day I think I'll add a couple more planes and effects - added F-16, RS - Rain Textures and after that the mission no longer started, and I remember that an error popped up on the screen associated with the Rain Textures mod). Now everything is fine but I play without mods:steamthumbsup:

I have pushed an update which hopefully fixes your issue - I am unable to reproduce your issue no matter what I try so I am just trying to reinforce code around where you were getting the issue.

Question, does the boards still not show the factions correctly in the dropdowns? Is there any errors that happen before you click the start game button? Also, have you tried without mods?

Hi - no, it didn’t help, I even tried it on a new computer (I installed Windows today and then Arma 3).
