Yes, i am 100% sure. I have a rather large mod list, and i went through it, turning them off one by one. Thankfully i had my first ever game saved, no mods in it, i loaded that on with only this mod and yes, the problem is there. I can say that it wasn't a problem before the Archon DLC, so it must have done something with it.

I rather doubt that. Have you actually tried with just this mod installed? I'm not touching anything near those records.

Mod causes tier 4 and tier 5 unit to not gain their stat upgrades on level ups

AI fully benefits. That said, it's unit composition doesn't seem to be majorly affected - it still builds about the same mix as otherwise.

This mod doesn't touch anything related to anything else. Unless they made another ritual have a scaling cost, and used the same one as for City Cap. In which case, that'll also not be scaling anymore.

I'm finding seafaring isn't working now. Not sure if it's a bug caused by game updates bugging this mod, or another one, or a bug with the main game though

Yeah, one of the mods I'm using it definitely bogging the game down because the AI moves units really inefficiently. They'll move like 1 unit, 3 units, and then 2 units, and the rogue animals and mauraders do the same thing.

I've even see them spend 3-5 minutes moving units back and forth in one area just using up their movement points instead of just staying in one spot.

It's definitely a programming issue.

Be careful what you wish for. I played a game with this mod and the AI built gigantic armies which bogged the game down in the late game to 15 minute turns!

Currently, no, no plan about that. Steam is also not like the Nexus, where you can easily upload different versions.

Is there any plan to remove Imperium upkeep entirely? I'd like to eventually have an armies completely composed of nothing but dragons.

If I have to use a mod that gives me infinite Imperium I'd eventually do that if I have to. I'd prefer to just have the Imperium upkeep change into a massive mana or gold upkeep instead, like 100 gold or 100 mana.

Something reasonable. The imperium upkeep just feels like a tacked on limiter in order to prevent you from creating armies of Giants or Dragons, because there are so few mechanics that allow you to create a massive Imperium stockpile.

45 is base upkeep - it can be modified by enchantments, and perhaps also special unit abilities. All I know is that Mana upkeep should be exactly equal to what it would otherwise be.

this was for a tier 5 mythic horned god unit given as a gift from defeating a gold ancient wonder

this mod correctly reduced tier 5 imp upkeep from 7 to 5 imperium but unlike the 45 mana value shown in 2nd graphic above did NOT reduce mana upkeep from 60 to 45. it remained at 60 mana

which is correct for tier 5, 45 or 60 mana??

I'd like a mod with the Imperium costs removed completely. It could double the Gold and Mana maintenance in exchange.

I'm afraid I don't know enough about how AoW4 handles mods to know about how big moving mods is a problem. A risky thing you might try is uninstalling, saving, and then installing in a different position. I don't see what could go wrong, but again, I don't know all that much about this topic, so I might just be ignorant of the problems there.

Load order issue is possible. Since this mod basically edits nothing else, make sure it's loaded last.

Open the mod tools, and find UnitProperties/Tiers_UnitProperties.rpk in the resource manager. In the Tier resources, there's a Cost data thing that contains upkeep costs. Just set Imperium Costs to zero. If you're making your own mod (which you might, otherwise any updates from me could overwrite your changes), then only T4 and T5 have the Imperium cost.

Anyway you could do one with say half rounded up imperium upkeep?
I find imperium upkeep too high, but I still like the mechanic
I would halve and round up - so if it was 3 or 4, reduce to 2, 5 or 6, 3; 7, reduced to 4
let me know the files to modify
