If anyone knows how to create things for DX11 or knows how to do their own thing for this please do so, I am sorry to find this is not DX11 ready.
And Sage gave a good reason why this is DX9 only, stop complaining about it.

its good we have atleast one puppet we can place around the big stations and ship to make it come to life a bit.
If you guys can find the time and love to make a few extra models that would be really cool.
like one sitting on a chair.( theres plenty of table to place em on)
one that looks like he working a wallpanel. 1 in kneeled down position as if he working a ground panel. just some thoughts. lovely work none the less.

Very nice, but I think you should make an inset version aswell, so that you can stand him right against walls and such.

Sage, got an error that pops up from this mod. Has to do with the computer, and no terminal for it to be accessed from :)

Doesn't stop the game from loading, but it was funny to see that error.

I wonder if this will be updated now that htere is ragdoll, most likely not becuase I think they are meant for "atmosphere", one can dream though, js.

Love these guys. Would love to see more static characters in various other poses. Some in beds, some in the various consols, some that look like they are working on ships. Makes the single player stations look slightly more alive.

Is it possible to change the weapon being held without a model program, or just the texture? It might be neat to see a set of these using some of the different textures and patterns that are in the workshop, maybe given their own menu group when selecting blocks and stuff like I've seen some mods set up for better organizing or to ease finding things.

i am unable to use this mod in by growing battle fleet as every turret tries to shoot the static soldiers, even through other components such as armor. thus my fleet tears itself apart if i turn the turrets on. you can fix this by either removing computers from the soldiers or adding a way to make them mine.

Just an idea, but i think someone needs to make a turret based off of this. Like a charicter that acts as an interior turret just alot easier to destroy

Is the collision model that of the engineer or is it a full block.
