This crash issue on Mac occurs because Metal does not support the A1R5G5B5 format used in DDS files.
In my case, I resolved it by manually converting the DDS files.

So i got a question... I just downloaded and played this mod for about a few hours and from what i see, this is basically what we're going to get in the new DLC?
So, we're going to pay for a DLC that stole content from a free mod? Is that it or I'm wrong???

I doubt it is going to be updated, as the whole thing will be obsolete with the next DLC.

Why does the Han culture use models of nomadic soldiers (i.e. those riding on horseback)
Coincidentally the Han culture is not supposed to have the same model of soldiers as the Japanese?

They just updated the mod to 1.16 try the latest version :D
