4章节图。强度较高,第一节下马威开局刷特而且没有安全门,似乎还会固定刷witch和TANK,后续一直保持较高的刷怪频率有点难度。地图全程都是狭小封闭空间,要么是高空施工工地要么地下神秘实验室比较难打。值得一提的是救援关卡比较简单,在地铁站台一个大空间只有两侧固定来敌人非常好防守。作者使用扬长避短不做大而空地图,沉浸感非常好,值得满分。10/10:steamthumbsup:

In spite of all the flaws I listed however, the campaign plays okay overall and has some interesting ideas and areas that, with more experience and polish, could easily be fleshed out and turned into a well-paced and well-balanced campaign. 8/8

One major thing that feels off about this campaign is its lack of character. The campaign is called "Vague Reminders", which is fitting as its ideas are incredibly vague. You follow a train track throughout the campaign (for the most part) but there isn't really a given reason besides a few pieces of graffiti telling you to follow the tracks. The survivors do not comment on anything that isn't their normal callouts, as if they aren't even in the environment. The wrong survivors are on the poster for the campaign as well. 7/8

Overall the campaign's main issues are scaling, weapon/ammo pickup frequency/placement, navigation mesh, and awkward navigation. Many areas feel too open and easy to pick off infected, or too small with claustrophobic encounters. Weapon pickups felt few and far between, as well as having unusual progression through weapon tiers; you are only given a tier 2 at the start of the witch maze in level 2, which is at the end, whereas typically they are found in the middle of levels like this. A lot of ammo pickups are in places the survivors would have no real need for them, such as in close proximity to starting saferooms. Survivor bots would not get stuck, but rather have trouble figuring out where to go, seemingly being pulled in multiple directions by the navigation mesh. Many ways that lead further through the level feel awkward or unintended to reach, like the wooden ladder in the elevator in the hotel or the small crawl spaces littered throughout the underground areas. 6/8

The escape vehicle in the finale is the same as seen in the tutorial level for map creators, a train arrives after 2 sets of 2 hordes and 1 tank and then takes the survivors away. The finale takes place in a subway station, and it's very easy to defend as the infected have to come at you from straight and open hallways. It being an average and easy finale makes it feel anticlimactic, given the difficulty of previous levels. 5/8

The third level hits you right off the bat with a long downward ladder climb into a well, and I'd like to believe most people know climbing down a ladder in a Source game is extremely awkward; at least 1 survivor bot is guaranteed to fall and die or get downed. The level mostly consists of meandering around narrow underground hallways and corridors, besides the generator/elevator crescendo event near the beginning. Special infected like the Smoker and Hunter feel useless in this environment due to its close-quarters nature. Other than that there's not too much to say about this level, it's fairly average. 4/8

The level continues into a large hotel, however most of the floors are relatively open and empty, in contrast to the tunnels before. At the top of this hotel is an elevator crescendo event. Survivor bots would often walk away from the elevator due to a navigation mesh bug, but even then it's a pretty average difficulty event. After taking the elevator, a short distance away is the witch hedge maze, which you enter by walking through a hedge. This causes confusion as the player thinks they will have to walk through another hedge to find the exit, but the rest are solid. I think there's a bit too many witches densely packed into the maze in order for the survivors to strategically avoid them but I managed to get through it just fine. 3/8

The second level is easily the most challenging level of the four, due to its early gauntlet event that leads the survivors through multiple tight underground corridors and subway tunnels that feel pretty awkward to push through with tier 1 weapons. Throughout this fairly long gauntlet event there is a lack of guaranteed ammo/weapon pickups to allow the survivors to continue pushing, so you will often find yourself left to rely on your secondary weapon. There are however health items directly after reaching the end of this event, so it is recoverable. 2/8

The first level has a few issues, notably the lack of PLAYER_START navigation mesh attributes to prevent special infected from spawning while you are in the starting area. Towards the end it becomes confusing where to go (in addition to the intentional junkyard-maze) due to there being multiple brightly lit areas that do not lead further into the level. But for the most part it's a pretty solid starting level. 1/8

The map seems to have isues loading textures. In the first chapter at the end of a warmly lit tunnel i could see through a wall as if i had enabled wireframe.

The design of this map is unreasonable, and the overall difficulty is relatively high. In the second chapter, there are many witches hiding in the bushes. 3/10
