But I found an exploit.
Steps:
1. Board an NPC grid that has no control blocks (destroyed or absent).
2. Place a new RC block on the grid without welding (just needs 1 steel plate).
Actual: ownership transfers immediately.
Expected/wished functionality: takeover should require the player’s control block to be at least functional (and maybe powered). This way it is still similar to hacking the control blocks in a grid that still has its original control blocks.

I spend an hours on finding the issue. It was no Issue by this mod This mod is working Perfectly fine The issue was that the NPC Ship didnt spawn in correctly
It did not have a main cockpit i fixed it by placing my own cockpit seat setting it as main cockpit then hacking it and hacking all the other control blocks again and then the ship was mine
I hacked all Cryo Chambers Flight Seats Control Seats - No cockpit on the ship i try to steal
and hacked the remote control but it doesnt let me take the ship
If you place a control block on the grid, you'll own it. I have been pondering to require hacking the AI blocks as well as many new keen grids work this way..
1. Base doesn't have any Remote Control blocks (only AI Defence unit)
2. Base doesn't have any control seats / cockpits
3. Base doesn't have any cryo/medkits
Please provide the actual crash log.
The remote control is not the only thing you need to take over, its all control blocks - seats/cockpits, and cryo chambers, because of how SE made them.
Load order does not matter.
