What is planned. I am going to have multiple map listings in the map browser as areas get built based on a grid system I came up with to mitigate other issues. If you wanted to focus on a section of the world, select that map listing and you play specifically that region but still can explore the world.

Given that this is a large project and I'm a single mod dev on this with IRL responsibilities. please expect large gaps between updates.

@ursics. I haven't even gotten that far yet in terms of progress in regards of overall coverage. The initial release was to help me with getting asset's refined to also use on stratis. Currently the vehicle mod is broke for this map due to a limitation of that mod that doesn't account for how I have mitigated another issue for the size of Altis. to shorten that sentence - vehicles don't spawn due to how the world is loaded.

Likely either when OHD has a better solution for setting vehicle spawns up or if the overhaul mod changes its method of spawning vehicles. Please do not pressure the dev of that mod cause of this problem. He is already aware and I will let him take the time he needs to perfect his work.

Is it possible to repack as a new map specifically for vehicle mods? Also, maybe separate maps with the caps in different parts of the map, like Pyrgos or Sophia and such. That'd be an awesome and resourseful way of maximizing the use of this map. I'd love the chance to explore it.

Also, this game needs air vehicles and it'd be a fair f2p competitor to Squad.

@ursicus. thanks for the feed back. I'll consider it in the next update. at the moment, i don't have an update release coming at the present moment nor an ETA.

But i can agree, the flags are a bit bunched up. I was trying to prevent players having to run forever to just get to the next flag

Waypoints in single player are bunched up, which makes the rest of the map a bit of a waste. There a way for me to spread them out a bit?

@BBDavid I am aware of pathing problems with the Vehicle AAS layout. specifically the Blufor side. The skirmish and small scale AAS work fine from my play testing.

When u say long periods of time, can u elaborate? Personally, I haven't seen issues in terms of stability. Now say u took a helicopter or car and drove way accross the map. yes that will break the animations due to the origin point being so far away. The origin is in the direct center of the play area where the flags are focused currently.

Being it is an ambitious project.Updates will take time.

I appreciate u taking a look at the mod's current progress.

Hey, I've noticed that though blufor and opfor can spawn, that its allergic to any US units to spawn them without them having pathfinding for whatever reason, can you give me possible debugs for this? Also, the map isn't stable for long periods of time but im sure you'll work on it when you get the chance and that you'll make many versions of the map for spawn points and objectives.

An update for this mod. Looking to get a small town setup with destructible buildings and walls and one of the forests populated as a good testing ground for performance.

For people wondering what the next update will be for this map. I will start using Altis as a bed for publishing future buildings for people to test out.

For example. I will put in the destructible buildings and the barrier check will be disabled so all the extents of the map are completely accessible.

@Cat Daddy I did specify that this is a very large map and it is in a very early state and is at the moment more of a stress testing map for vehicles and being very far from the origin point.
