I get it's a nice reference to the comics, but as a TAUNT it falls in line with the Yeti Punch where it's not something you'd use as a legit taunt other than showing it off one time or maybe in a trade server, and traders do not really play the game so this comes more as an EMOTE.

Not to mention Pyro isn't even using the correct axe they used in the comic so it's like you're not even fully committing to the reference, just doing it for the sake of brownie points like "Hey TF2 fans! Look at me! I'm also hip with the community, check out this cool nod to lore! Please vote for me!" Sorry but that's just how I feel

it's a great taunt in concept and execution, although if i had to make one criticism, i think the windup animation is a bit too long, if that were shortened slightly, i think this would be just about perfect.

i like this taunt but is it possible to make it use whatever meelee the player is useing?

I'd personally prefer if pyro used his stock fire axe rather than random axe, but it is a small detail and the rest of the taunt is great

Based anti-furry non-looping taunt. Also I think pyro should use his currently equipped melee or just the stock fire axe. Seems kind of odd to have a wholly unique axe model specifically for one taunt.

I’m gonna give this one a pass even if it’s more of an emote than it is a taunt. Firstly: I really like this taunt, it’s pretty funny and a nod to the comics. It’s also a fine concept and I mean, it just works

I don't understand why people are saying fits the bill of an emote and not a taunt when the pose Pyro does with the cutout would absolutely be tilting to see on the kill cam. I do agree with Jouppi that the start up should be sped up, though.

It's a shame that we haven't gotten many taunts that serve to actually "taunt" people as of late, but I think one that focuses on getting freeze frame screenshots is a good compromise!

The start is a bit slow, but ideally you would see Pyro posing with the cutout in the death cam. Anyways I think the taunt is a fun idea.

I'd really like if like that one Minigun taunt Pyro used his equipped melee to destroy it, though I guess weapons like the hammers would look weird slicing, though its not a clean cut so maybe it'd be fine.

We were deliberating between either the stock fire axe or a custom one, but we settled on a custom one out of consistency. Plus, it's a bit closer to the design in the comics.

Nice comics reference. Not really useful in game but we'll made. Would be nice if it used your melee but it would look screwy for the powerjack etc. Seems like a no-brainer to use the stock fireaxe though.
