You don't actually need Bee installed if all you intend is to play maps from others using it to create, you install it when you intend to create map yourself.

Without it the worst is missing model for energy ball from P1, but the game with it still plays properly, although some force the check but I don't remember this one does that.

is BeeMod2 Safe? my microsoft defender says that the 32 latest version could be risky

@derpbox The gel color is actually grey. Right before the exit, there is a secret path that brings you behind the wall and that shows its inner workings. There you can see that it is purple due to purple lights.

I suspect the developers had puzzles in mind but ran out of time to develop them so the adhesion gel was dropped.

@Col. Hogan Adhesion gel was a testing element that was cut from the game, and replaced with reflection gel in the first DLC, meaning even it's entirely non-functional form was no longer possible to spawn. People have found ways to 'recreate' adhesion gel in their maps though, through the use of various means, like rotating the map, teleporting the player between rotated copies of it, or by using world portals (like in this map).
