Have you considered adding Canister Drainers, Bottle fillers and Bottle Drainers to the mod? They are all new buildings added in the QoL updates late last year.

How hard would it be to add an output port to the Canister Filler that's green when there's a full canister needing to be emptied, and red otherwise?

This is your lucky day - you can choose which buildings get automation port using mod settings :)

I'm not sure what exactly would you expect from those mods you pitch ideas for... Also, I'm currently focusing on other things, so maybe it will be faster if you suggest those ideas to Automation Extended's author :) that seems like his scope

You've put out some of my favorite mods. Can't thank you enough. I have a QOL mod idea/request that seems like it would be in your wheelhouse...

Quick/Easy Switch Toggle. It's incredibly tedious to have to open the menu for each switch, then move over and click the graphic.

Also, a wire-ribbon selector toggle would be incredible (like the Signal Selector/Distributor for Wires). 30 block logic-chunks just to select between two ribbons is a bit over the top... and THAT'S only possible because I'm using Automation Extended.

Yes, I didn't name the mod "More Enable Ports" for a reason. However, that might be slightly harder than other ports, so please be patient ;)

are output ports a possibility? if so i would like to request one on the telescope, that goes green when there are no remaining hexes to scan ("Area Complete" in tooltip)

Fair points. :-) Indeed walls seem a 'safe place' to run automation (I use a mod to avoid the long wire spaghetti). Even automating planter boxes would still save an automation/animation cycle of the cpu. Thanks!

However, I fear people might run other logic cables inside walls and tiles and adding ports there may break some builds, so I will probably need to add options for that

Since the world needs more logic... how would you feel about adding automation ports to farm tiles, hydro farm tiles and planter boxes?

This would help with both overages/spoilages AND more importantly, help automate wheezewort cooling (which currently works this way via planter boxes on automated mechanized airlocks; logic ports directly would be so much cleaner and less cpu intensive).

My mod has changed the 'interfaces' of some of the buildings by placing the' electrical ',' gas', 'liquid', or 'signal' interfaces in one coordinate. I don't know if your mod will conflict with it, wuwu.
