I didn't know we were currently in beta ^^
Please remind me after game updates go live, developing mods during beta is pointless, everything is changing all the time. Once the code is stable I will add them for you :)
I'm not sure what exactly would you expect from those mods you pitch ideas for... Also, I'm currently focusing on other things, so maybe it will be faster if you suggest those ideas to Automation Extended's author :) that seems like his scope
Quick/Easy Switch Toggle. It's incredibly tedious to have to open the menu for each switch, then move over and click the graphic.
Also, a wire-ribbon selector toggle would be incredible (like the Signal Selector/Distributor for Wires). 30 block logic-chunks just to select between two ribbons is a bit over the top... and THAT'S only possible because I'm using Automation Extended.
You should not see any impact on your games
However, I fear people might run other logic cables inside walls and tiles and adding ports there may break some builds, so I will probably need to add options for that
This would help with both overages/spoilages AND more importantly, help automate wheezewort cooling (which currently works this way via planter boxes on automated mechanized airlocks; logic ports directly would be so much cleaner and less cpu intensive).

Any chance of also adding automation ports to enable/disable the <b>output port</b> of liquid & gas reservoirs?

My mod has changed the 'interfaces' of some of the buildings by placing the' electrical ',' gas', 'liquid', or 'signal' interfaces in one coordinate. I don't know if your mod will conflict with it, wuwu.
