i dont work on sfm. ask someone else to figure out how to do the same thing as this addon does, it's pretty simple but i wouldnt have the slightest clue how to do it for sfm

Make this but for SFM. SFM has Python. Hopefully someone will. It works in record/F11 game mode but once rendering or viewport the depth buffer is diff.

so when cl_enable_dof is on i can see the npcs and stuff but the shadows like from lamps and env_sun dont show up

some hooks and functions that the gmod devs implemented make this possible, so yea in its current form it's only for gmod.

you should try to find all depth buffers to tap into them, then put the game data in to each of them for normals and bump and stuff, so that reshade could use those respectively with msaa, also the high the msaa the harder it gets for it to detect the depth buffer

make sure your dxlevel is at 90 or above. if that doesn't work try resetting your game settings: https://docs.mastercomfig.com/latest/setup/clean_up/

Works good! Main issue is that when using experimental first person from Dranoic base, it renders both the arms of the weapon from the model, leading to an empty area with AO
