@Dr Knox : I cannot reproduce such bug. If you have a saved game pls report it via Ctrl-F1 with the mod's name in the description.

agreed, would be great if you could assign "owners" so only selected survivors can open locked doors. Ensure noone unintended enters their private rooms (e.g. that way they could have their private workbench there)

I tried unassigning them from everything, and not allowing them to eat or use anything, but as soon as they got bored they just walked right through the doors to go do something leisurely. The mod simply doesn't work. This was used on vanilla barred and metal doors that were placed after the mod was installed.

Doesn't work. Doors locked, fully enclosed concrete room, including ceiling, and they just walk through the door after walking up to it several times. Yes, the icon is above the door too, even after they pass through.

would love if i could say which players are allowed to pass through a door, all others restricted. i don't want survivors entering private apartment uninvited.

I didn't like the fact that the survivors go to each other in the middle of the night and impose minus morale due to disturbed sleep.
The mod works perfectly.

Any chance room lights could be included in the script to be turned off when door is locked? Just the electric lights.

The short idle time after waking up is just gone entirely.

It used to be like clockwork. Survivors would wake up, go to the room next door for a bit to stand idle, then take up an actual prioritized assignment. Now they wake up and immediately move on to a task as they rise from the bed.

It's a very nice improvement, whatever the cause.

Also, re-enabling this mod. I don't feel as much need for it as before, but I still like having the option. Thanks for the update!

Ok, I removed the error source, but honestly I don't have a clue why it was causing the problem :/ About the fact that the survivors are currently avoiding rooms with sleeping people, I can't find such code in the vanilla game :/ Maybe it's too well hidden, or a consequence of another logics influence.

I thought I'd miss having this mod's functionality more than I have ended up missing it.

It seems in the last game update, you folks changed the behaviour of survivors when they wake up, because people no longer wake up and then go to the room next door (where someone else is sleeping) to idle for a moment.

Very welcome change. That's the main reason I used this mod previously.

This mod is not working quite right since yesterday's game update for me. I have all survivors set to lock their door, but only some actually do it when they sleep. It also isn't putting the alert on the side of the UI when doors are locked like it did previously.

And I get a message about a script error from the game when people go to sleep.
I couldn't find anything in the game logs though.

Could there possibly be an option created so it does not create a notification when a survivor locks a door to sleep?

There is a way, but that involves a lot of work. A new state for the door would require to impelement additional actions, buttons, direct orders. A more easier mod would be to instruct an animal to stop using doors, with a button in its infopanel.

Enjoying the mod, although they do slip out every now and then. Would it be possible to have this feature extend to fence and fortification gates, too? Sometimes their walks take them to lands unknown (and hostile).

Not sure if you are aware of this, but I found out through a mistake.

If you lock a door, and then 'Deconstruct it' it doesn't automatically dismiss the door as being locked. So.... even though everyone is awake.... there is still one locked door, the dismantled one which I cannot unlock lol

Is it possible to assign a door to a person person?
As in, I can assign the entrance of a building to one or two people, so it can be his/her/their "house"?

Think because the happiness is given when you decide to make him do the task, or when they decide themself to do the task, it not given during they doing the task that why it ignite even they can't do it. I noticed it too when send a survivor to his favorite task first and then command him to do something else before he doing his favor task he still got the bonus yet he got to do something else.

This is not a bug but it coded in the story bits and happiness factor to give people grieve or happiness and those always kick in before or right after certain events. It not possible to do it during so far i seen it.

There is another small (very small) flaw in your mod. When a survivor is inside a building and is prevented from doing a task outside (and vice versa) that would bring him happiness, he still gets the bonus, even if he doesn't actually do the task.

No... In private rooms... I'll go in to heal or care for one and then get locked in until they wake up and unlock the door.

If I select the door and unlock it... the patient wakes and unlocks it.

Injto4ka - Is there any way to make this so that when a survivor is recovering the door doesn't lock the medic in the room with them. Maybe a time delay on how long before the locks activate? My medic keeps getting locked in the room and sleeping on the floor.

The bug with the shared room is fixed, thanks for reporting it! Added screenshots to illustrate the behavior. But the case where all doors of all rooms are locked is not clear, cannot reproduce it.

Whatever change you made on May 4th has broken the mod. They used to ONLY lock the doors when both were in the room. Now they will lock the doors when only one of the couples enter the room. Worse than that, they will ALSO lock the exterior doors of the entire house, preventing anyone from entering from the outside! Please revert your changes back to the pre-May 4th update.

Hm, I tried to make them lock the room only when the owners of the beds in a room are in the same room. Maybe it does't work everytime, will have to check it, thanks.

This mod works GREAT - it bugged me that toons would just walk into another private room while the other was sleeping!!!

You get my Shooting star for this one! I would like to see one possible change... This doesn't work well for Couples. Maybe an allow/disallow list of who can enter a locked room.
