Ring Choke Point creates this amazing, CONSTANT battle throughout the entire game instead of hours of micro-managing just for one battle. There's this constant fight for superiority, and then what's essentially a random chance guess at expansion to what random galaxy you choose to expand to next.
The line and DNA galaxies are 2 extremely interesting ones as well, forcing the game to rely on massive defenses, making the game into what's essentially trench warfare.
Then of course, we have the grid, which essentially turns the game into a standard, land based RTS game like civilization. Really interesting stuff. LOVE this mod for multiplayer. Game changing more then any other mod could be.
I never liked my CPU anyway....
