Yes I have! This Mod is compatible with this version of the Apini Mod: https://www.gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3219632807 .

That Mod does not work in V1.6 yet.

If you want compatibility for that other version, I need you to help me get a few elements:

1. I need the Thing Def key for the Apini Wax. (The version of the Apini Mod I use removes Apini Wax when run it and the Alpha Rim Bees Mod.)

2. I need the Thing Def keys for all of the furniture.

Give me both of these and I can write a quick Patch to fix the furniture.

Have you considered making this compatible with Apini Continued? That one has been updated to 1.6. Right now if you have this mod, Alpha Bees, and Apini Continued installed you can't build the furniture because it requires the Apini version of Beeswax and you can only produce the Alpha Bees version of Beeswax.

Alright, I'll check today. I think that I might have removed them in V1.6 when they changed how it worked. I'll see if I can add them back.

Thank you for the response. I've looked through everything and the Fermentation Cabinets do not exist. So I am not sure where is going wrong here.

I assume that you have the Vivi Mod. Is that true?

Dormant Vivi Seeds are placed in Vivi Fermentation Cabinets. IIRC, with the right Vivi Research, you can build one. It works like the barrel you ferment beer in: you drop the item in it and wait. Eventually, the Dormant Vivi Seed becomes the Vivi Mod's Unknown Plant Seed, which you can then plant.

A question. How do you use Dormant Vivi Seed? I crafted it but there's no further interactions for planting etc.

I've been a modder (user not creator) of *maaany* games for many many years, but every time I've tried to do Rimworld modding I've always had very bad luck with it, so I'm a touch overly paranoid with trying to not run into compatibility issues.

@TurtleShroom, What makes you say CE sucks? I've been enjoying it quite a bit with my small time with it.

The Combat Extended Mod sucks. Also, how is that Mod possibly incompatible with the Alpha Bees Mod?

Ahh, I am interested in it actually! But from what I can see it's not comparable with Combat Extended, and I've been wanting to try that out, and unfortunately the bees had to go. :steamsad:

I fell down a BEEEE based rabbit hole and ended up here! I won't be using this mod, but I just have to say that I love your dedication too all things honey and bee related. I have left a thumbs up, simply because I love your attitude! Keep up the amazing work, and glory to all things friend shaped!

Unfortunately, no, that would mess up a LOT of things because your Mod requires mine and uses your Package Identifiers. I can't merge your Mod into mine, sadly. Thankfully, as it is a pure XML Mod, updating it is effortless.

So ... congrats on taking on Ancient Rim ... I think with 1.6 it might be time for you to fold Make Honey Compatible (Continued) into this mod, and be the sole bee doctor into the future ... :)

That is Working As Designed, because in real life, honey cannot rot if it stays under seal.

The ONLY honey that rots in that Mod is the Tasty Honey, because its description explicitly lists it as special.

Just a little weird thing , after innstalling this mod and " Make Honey Compatible Patch" , all honey from alpha bees become no longer rottable .Before installing , most alpha bees honey have 60 days limit to rot so i keep them in freezer room , now i don't have to , so i guess this is good right:steamhappy:

I should have updated it hours ago, but I would appreciate if you would test it for me. If I did it correctly, you should be able to do three things with the VFEM2 Mod installed:

1. Craft a Focus Draught Potion using this Mod's special honey mix.
2. Craft a Fertility Draught Potion using this Mod's special honey mix.
3. Employ a Recipe called "Make Herbal Medicine x3" at the Alchemy Draught Table using ANY form of honey.

If you can do all of these, I've done it right.

Unfortunately, Oskar used a COSTLIST for making the Focus Draught, meaning you can't use a Thing Category to determine what honey to put in.

Thankfully, I planned ahead for that. This Mod adds something called Purified Honey Mix , which allows you to mix any honey from any Mod into a single item that works for recipes like this! Look at the Alpha Bees Centrifuge, or the special Honey Furnace, and take that honey and mix it together. The result can be used for everything involving honey, from floors to Focus Droughts!

Hi,here is a question, The draught from VFE-MEDIEVAL2 like focus draught still use only the honey from VFEM2,how can i use honey from alphabees instead ?

Also, it seems that your list has the Vanilla Factions Expanded Tribal Mod. I did not make my stuff with that Mod in mind, so please test it for me WITHOUT the VFET Mod, and share the results.

I've never seen an error like that before! What does "Broken Recipe" even mean? I'll look into it now.

The Recipe in question is only supposed to load when you have the Vivi Mod AND the Vanilla Factions Expanded Recycling Mod loaded at the same time. Is this the case in your Mod set up?

No, Mousekins are not included. I hate Ratkins. However, I will add them if I can get the Package ID. A gentleman gave me some of the Def Names, but not the Package ID.

Gentlemen, it is with great sorrow that I have to announce that, due to the Mantodean Mod maker making the ultimate mistake in Mod making (changing Def Names, and he changed ALL OF THEM), I will be forced to break compatibility with V1.4 of "Rimworld" in order to ensure that I replace all of the Defs. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of Defs in the Mantodean Mod, and I touched many of them. Going line by line and reordering thousands of lines of XML code in dozes of XML files is not acceptable when I can do a batch replacement.

The alternative is to completely remove the Mantodean Mod from this Mod.

I express my deepest apologies to those who have enjoyed the V1.4 version. I have included a RAR compressed folder that has the V1.4 version as it stands.

I hope those with V1.4 will understand that I cannot break saved games on this scale. I am sorry.

They were first on my compatibility list before I realized that my OS made it impossible to play the VFE and HAR Mods together. Unfortunately, I can't do anything until I upgrade my W7 to W10, and so far, all attempts to do so have been rejected by my machine.

I did make sure it's updated and at the bottom of the list if that matters. It doesn't even list what ingredients are missing. just says missing ingredients and the rest is blank despite having both steelwax and steel on the map. Maybe it's because I was trying to make a turbocleaner from alpha mechs? I can try a vanilla one later and see if it's the same result
