Yeah you're right, Bandit style Insurgents are probably the best idea. This way I can make any other faction replacements for Security and it would work.

Although I'm still having trouble immersion wise given that security has a bunch of NATO equipment. I've tried looking into the possibility of giving both factions the AK pattern rifles but haven't found anything yet.

If that's not possible I might just make AK replacements for the M4/M16 to supplement these mods but I have zero experience with any of that so it'll likely be awhile if I ever get to it.

Maybe you can make the insurgents look like Bandits? Or as you said, a modified insurgent faction. There are various examples of it in the workshop.

I've been thinking about it, for sure.

Ideally, the Insurgent models would be replaced with modified Security ones but I haven't looked into how easy that would be, if it's as simple as renaming and replacing then I definitely will.

My idea was to have Duty on the Insurgent side since I made this, I realize in hindsight it would have made more sense to make a Merc themed addon for Security then Bandits or something for Insurgents given the equipment... but, I like Freedom, so I ended up throwing this together.

If you have any other ideas, I'd be pleased to hear them.

This actually looks cool. Are you considering a Stalker themed addon for Insurgents as well?
