Idk if this is a dumb question or it has been asked before but I don't want to look through 70 pages of comments so I'm just gonna ask. A lot of assets depend on decal prop fix and this says that the functionality is included in Prop Control. Does that mean assets dependent on decal prop fix will work with this mod?

@Chris That sounds as though either render groups haven't been properly generated by the game, or the pops/trees are set at invalid heights. Selecting them all with Move It and realigning to terrain should fix either issue, if that's the case.

@XDorazio The keys for scaling can be set in the mod's options panel; by default they are '.' (period or >) and ',' (comma or <).

To scale, select a prop to place, and use these keys (before you place the prop!) to change the scale.

Existing props can be scaled in the same way if you select them with Move It.

Since the latest game update (no other change, except for "mandatory" mod updates), I have a strange bug: trees and props in short distance disappear visually on certain (reproducible but not fully understood) conditions, e.g. when lowering viewing angle in certain locations. Can only be fixed by restarting game. Disabling Prop Control v1.0 resolves this issue, so at least it must be partially related. Disabling the setting of prop visibility changes in the mod does not have an impact. Game restarted whenever changes to mods or config of mods were done. Log file: https://ufile.io/th9aasff

Using this and tree control, oftentimes props and trees that are placed within the boundaries of a lot will disappear. Dunno if I missed something about how to avoid that. I do turn off anarchy whenever I'm placing things that don't require it though.

having hard time getting it but it was working fine before i subbed and enabled it after ward if crashed on load when i unsubbed form it and retried to start game it loaded normal it was the only thing i have subbed and subbed at the time on top of that i had unsubbed from the previous version to mitigate any conflicts. found the output log but cant get to specific log as i clicked don one and that the only one that shows up now

@cadetmonte812003 This mod really doesn't do anything that would cause a crash on load. If you're sure, then post a link to your output log from after the crash.

THIS MOD CAUSES MY GAME TO CRASH ON LOAD IVE TESTED IT WITH AND WITH OUT THIS MOD AND EVERY TIME ITS ENEABLED IT CRASHES LOAD i could have sworn i left a comment before and it got erased but figured id let ya know feel like cs1 is being stripped of all its mods

@algernon some time ago, about a year ago, there was a debate about the fact that in the future you will try to solve limits in the game, such as props limit, nodes, buildings, etc. please, do you think it will ever happen to you? will we be able to continue the game even if we have reached some of these limits? I know that the solution is, for example, PO, or interactive marking toll and some another mods, but it still doesn't solve many things. please try to look at those limits, it would help a lot, just like with the trees. it's awesome there. thank you

Hi @algernon,

I experience the same issue as @vader. Wooden logs and stones are floating. It is impossible for me to select the floating stones and logs with the Move It mod.

It's a new game with the map Shady Strands. I'm running Windows 10.

As for the log file I cannot locate it in this folder:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data

I have the "Enable detailed debugging logging" option enabled.

Can you tell me where can I find it so I can provide it to you?

@vader Please don't copy-paste error messages here as they don't mean much on their own; instead, post a link to your output log so that we can see what's actually going on..

For the floating stones, that's a known issue with certain maps containing invalid prop data (this includes some of the maps that come with the game). Use Move It to realign them to terrain height.

When starting a new game on an empty map, all the stones are in the air. Changing the settings does not help. When restarting a new game, a message appears.

Building limit, don’t worry I think I’ve got a solution I’m going to use blender to have 4 QLD house assets in a row into one asset which I can then import as a unique building then RICO etc, I’m pretty much trying to create infinite suburban sprawl, if you look at the SoCal houses in their block version on the workshop that’s what I’m doing, ChatGPT said it would work so it must lol

@algernon unfortunately I’ve tried to change them using mod tools and then using scripts but they seem to override once in game, it seems to of been a thing at one point cause theirs a script online with for a mod called Detail that says it enables them in game but i think that mod doesn’t function anymore, do you know of anyways I’m getting kind of desperate lol I’ve tried everything, appreciate it

I touched the Prop Control and Visibility Control and changed some view distances there.
Afterwards i have the Vanilla Sky instead of the custom Sky defined in Lumina.
The XML from Lumina was and is write protected, cannot and has not been changed.

What do i have to remove, update or modify for having back the custom sky defined in Lumina?

Since i am not sure, which of the three mods mentioned here is the one actually causing the minor issue, i post this question in all three mods. Sorry for the noise, any idea or suggestion is welcome.

By the way, all of these three mods are absolutely awesome. I cannot game without these. Therefore, many, many thanks to the authors, honestly.

@John McCreedy I had the same experience as you where I accidentally subscribed to conflicting mod, and once I got rid of that one I could no longer see Prop Control. In my case it was an easy fix because it had just been switched off in the content manager. It sounds like you have a different issue, but I wanted to mention it in case it helps anyone else.

@John McCreedy If the mod's not even being loaded, then I'm afraid there's nothing I can do - that's a fundamental issue either with your game installation or with Steam, neither of which I control (obviously). I assume that you've verified your local game files with Steam?
