hi id also like to have the option to choose the old look as a different preset because the color panel I had doesnt fit with the new preset and I dont want to play with it too much, it was my favorite wallpaper and it fitted so well on my setup

@seekay that would be great! so far I have came really close to the old look but the only thing that is different is the vintage look and grain that looks a bit different, now it looks very clean.

@Laith it´s possible to replicate the old look almost perfectly while having a lot more customization. I will soon go and post a preset for this wallpaper that replicates that old look. I hope you will have your favorite wallpaper back then.

this is my all time favorite wallpaper on wallpaper engine and it was perfect every thing was so good, today I saw that it has been updated to this new version with alot more option that I really appreciate but as much as I tried to recreate what I had previously I couldn't
it would be really nice to have access to the older version of this wallpaper and maybe upload this as a different wallpaper, if this is not possible you may send me the older version file if that's ok

Just released an update that reworks the entire thing. It´s 4K now, the performance is better and there are more customization options.

If you don´t like this update feel free to complain here and I´ll revert back to the previous version.

@𝕱𝖆𝕿𝖆𝖑 I´m not familiar with Razer or iQue. I did add SOME visual music feedback in todays update.

This wallpaper is unreasonably demanding and will therefore not get any new features until I found a way to reduce the load on the GPU.

@Sinta I lowered the internal resolution to 200ßx1600 to reduce load on the GPU. Many people complained about their GPU running hot and I did a quick update to make sure no one´s PC starts burning.

Sadly this wallpaper either looks bad or is very demanding... I chose for it to be demanding and the internal resolution is back to 4K. If your GPU starts running at 80% then please remember: you wanted this XD

@Echo the wallpaper is already being rendered at 4K internally. And there are still stray pixels at 1080p. Therefore the wallpaper would need to be rendered at 8K+ internally for it to look good on 4K screens. Gariams procedural noise shader is quite optimized but it´s still a realtime noise shader... those get exponentially more demanding with higher resolutions. 4K is already too much for most people (just look at the comments).

The wallpaper is now back to it´s internal 4K resolution and will remain this way. The unfortunate reality is that this wallpaper is just not realistically possible at 4K.

Can you add music playback?
With a speed and visual change effect & maybe adding Razer Chroma & iQue RGB light support?

Not sure what happened but there are a bunch of artifacts and random splotches and the lines aren't as sharp as they were yesterday. If it was changed at all I would love a previous version with a new upload because it was so much better.

Please make a 4k version or seperate upload with the old setup. This is unusuable on high resolution monitors now.

Obviously the high resolution was too much for many people.

Reduced project resolution to 1080p.

Reduced noise layer resolution quite a bit.

Increased kernel size of some blur effects.


This will obviously result in some visual changes but I tried to keep it close to the original.

I might do a seperate 4K version for those who have high-end setups.
