Hey sorry if I might've missed this but I'm in Singleplayer is there a way for a bot to cook for the crew or would I have to cook manually? Thank you
Tintin 17 Sep @ 2:36am
:) thanks for the quick update :partyboo:
hUbert 2  [author] 17 Sep @ 2:13am
Yes I was supposed to update 2 weeks ago but things came up. I'll push a quick update to fix sea weed recipes, then there will be a more experimental update with a rework of how kitchen items are placed
Tintin 17 Sep @ 1:54am
The Crawler Brisket needs sea weed strips that are 100% unlike all the other ones where it can be 0-99%. meaning they're impossible to make
hUbert 2  [author] 15 Sep @ 3:09pm
full meals in general should replenish way more, at least 20% hunger
Eman 15 Sep @ 2:58pm
is it normal that full meals (burger, cooked steaks etc) replenish hunger by only 5% or less?
is there a way to tweak the options of hunger?
We are currently using hungry europans + expansion + enforced
SpookyDorf 15 Sep @ 10:05am
Oooh ok, thank you.
_]|M|[_  [author] 15 Sep @ 5:47am
@SpookyDorf: Yes, it finally received the rework update on August 10th which changed a lot of the food and recipes, but Charborg's crew also used the Hungry Europans Expansion mod alongside it.
SpookyDorf 15 Sep @ 5:16am
Did this mod receive a big update recently? I was watching Charborg's video and saw a lot of new content I hadn't seen earlier this year.
Kalen 15 Sep @ 1:42am
Would be cool to have on the submarine because it gives it a certain kind of cozy atmosphere.

Oh and yeah, the shi.tting mechanics still need to be reworked. Just thought I'd remind you.
hUbert 2  [author] 15 Sep @ 1:17am
Cup holder? interesting
Kalen 14 Sep @ 3:44pm
Would it be possible to make an item in the editor you can place down like a little plate or something that you can physically put down your mug on when not drinking? So I have a little plate on my captains desk where I put my coffee filled mug down on instead of holding the whole time.
hUbert 2  [author] 14 Sep @ 2:35pm
I'll update tomorrow, there are big changes to how kitchen items are placed so I'm a bit cautious about pushing it
Spookyheart 14 Sep @ 11:58am
We play with a modpack that includes Hungry Europans, and one person on the crew has stress enabled, but the rest, who haven't opted in, keeps getting stress, which then grows until removed, either by smoking or some other way. Seems to primarily be happening during high stress situations, like gunfights and such, but it is quite annoying to have it popping up, and having to remove it when you didn't opt in. Any solutions to it?
Thug Hunter 14 Sep @ 8:24am
when the next update is?
Viper 12 Sep @ 7:54am
idk if im doing something wrong or its a bug. i am trying to sleep in a bunk and its not working

hUbert 2  [author] 5 Sep @ 5:13pm
@Antinous, yes, join the Dynamic Europa discord
Antinous 5 Sep @ 3:00pm
I'm interested in contributing. Does HE have a Github Repository?
hUbert 2  [author] 5 Sep @ 11:38am
Мы больше не помещаем переводы в мод, люди должны публиковать свои переводы в отдельном моде, я добавлю его в коллекцию.
Vladmir's Offering 5 Sep @ 10:56am
нету перевода на русский язык как в игре так и в файлах мода
JohnFreaky 4 Sep @ 5:44pm
Would like to see a config, the most recent update made us lose motivation to use the mod as food/drink is difficult to maintain. We did add it as a way to add "difficulty" but its probably the most difficult part of the modpack we've used. If a config is added, would be appreciated <3
Kalen 3 Sep @ 3:03pm
Yooo it´s me again. Two things:
1. If I got that right after this new update the kitchen counter cannot recieve power from batteries/relays anymore? Whats the workaround?
2. You didn´t change the shi.tting mechanics like I asked you to. I´m highly disappointed. Please consider changing this in a future update.
Mr. Orgasm 3 Sep @ 11:59am
@Jestor, Nobody's forcing you to do this. Why are you even typing this non-topic related feelings? ,craving for attention so badly? It isn't MySpace you know. We discussing mods here, and not your feelings about my paragraphs.
Jestor 3 Sep @ 11:52am
I refuse to read paragraphs written by a man titled "Mr. Orgasm"
_]|M|[_  [author] 3 Sep @ 9:32am
@Mr. Orgasm: Can't really tell. A lot of code was improved, but generally the more afflictions a character has and the more characters exist, the more impact on performance it will have. That's why Neurotrauma runs so poorly in Cities when combined with DynamicEuropa since NT applies invisible afflictions to every character in the level and DE increases NPC count.
Mr. Orgasm 3 Sep @ 9:17am
@_]|M|[_, [i] NEEDS and Hungry Europans have already been merged with the Hungry Europans 2.0 (Rework) update last month (10th of August) albeit not as extensive[/i].

Didn't know that, thx for the response. So now you're XML only, no LUA included, what impact on performance is now?
_]|M|[_  [author] 3 Sep @ 9:08am
@Mr. Orgasm: NEEDS and Hungry Europans have already been merged with the Hungry Europans 2.0 (Rework) update last month (10th of August) albeit not as extensive.
- Hunger and Thirst (were already part of HE and was and is always optional)
- Bladder and Bowel (wasn't part of NEEDS, but was and is part of HE as optional feature)
- Mood (was part of NEEDS and is now part of HE as "Stress" as an optional feature)
- Tiredness (was part of NEEDS and is now part of HE as an optional feature)

They feature less severe consequences in terms of skill debuff when compared to NEEDS, but otherwise they're similar.

These feature can be toggled on using the "enabler" items from vending machines or via a quick menu when using the "Enforcer" patch.
Mr. Orgasm 3 Sep @ 8:48am
It seems like you're a typical narrow-minded person who doesn't care about anyone but yourself. Even if you thought for a minute about why all this extensiveness might be necessary, you still wouldn't get it. People who create cool mods can't support them for a number of reasons. Plus, if you haven't noticed, most mods with the name Immersive and others have different patches that remove/replace/modify some of the mod's features, and that's normal and fine, everyone has their own preferences. I want people to enjoy playing with the functionality they want, without any major complications and without having to download a lot of patches and break other mods (just because).

@Captain, you just talking shit like a 14 y/o internet bully girl. Go kiss your mom and say thank you for paying your internet access.
Captain 3 Sep @ 7:44am
I don't care about features at this time, nor do i care about mod compatibility. Just continue the good work on balancing it and fixing bugs. Don't do spaghetti code patches with endless features that doesn't work.Thanks. So I do not agree with the virgin down bellow called "Mr. Orgasm"
Mr. Orgasm 3 Sep @ 6:53am
I, and not only me, would be very grateful if this happened.
In my opinion, players should be given the choice to “select” which mechanics they want to enable and which to disable. Something similar exists in other projects, such as Project Zomboid, where you can enable or disable certain options, which is great because everyone can feel like the director of their own adventure.
Thank you for your attention.
Mr. Orgasm 3 Sep @ 6:53am
Another argument in favor of merging NEEDS and Hungry Europans is that there is no need to download two different mods and patches, but simply click Subscribe. Simplicity is the key to success and convenience, plus you can just add an “activate/deactivate” button for certain NEEDS (sleeping, hunger, thirst penalties) in the case of a merger with Hungry Europans. Flexibility is the key to convenience and QoL modifications. Maybe some people like the sleep penalty, while others don't, but want to keep the others. The ability to choose what you want and what you don't want should be the gold standard, in my opinion.
Mr. Orgasm 3 Sep @ 6:51am
Considering that I am not very knowledgeable about editing mods, I would like to make changes, but I am concerned about breaking other dependencies and compatibility issues. In addition, I believe that the NEEDS and Hungry Europeans mods should be one whole (simulating survival), and for many players who would like to try out the aspect of realism and survival, this would be very useful.
Another problem is that the author of the NEEDS mod may abandon it, while the Hungry Europans mod is constantly being refined and updated. Generally speaking, it is active, and it would be a pity if the NEEDS mod died over time because no one was working on it. You have already earned a reputation as the largest modders who have made a great contribution to the game.
hUbert 2  [author] 3 Sep @ 6:11am
Not sure why you'd want to get rid of food buffs, but you can just make a mod that overrides all foodbuffs with invisible afflictions that do nothing
Mr. Orgasm 3 Sep @ 5:41am
Author, it is possible to create a version of the mod without the “food buffs” for more reality and RP servers? I propose combining with NEEDS mod instead of food buffs. And keep the penalty system for hunger/thirst/lack of sleep, but the Sociality penalty system it’s unnecessary and impractical (I propose to delete it) crying from loneliness is silly and not needed.
You can just add a little Psychosis when alone (in the dark) or combine with the mod Improved Psychosis (which will be great). Similarly, reducing repair speed and temporarily reducing skills due to the Sociality “mechanics” from the NEEDS mod is also unecessary, some players like to be alone and should not be punished for that. And the Sociality mechanics just dictates to "be socially active" which is unnecessary. Thank you.
hUbert 2  [author] 3 Sep @ 12:34am
You should not get stress without Moody Europans enabled, I will try to find the source of stress
Zimagorus 2 Sep @ 2:40pm
So I'm currently playing on a modlist with a bunch of other people, and one of them inexplicably started getting the stress affliction despite never having moody europan activated, and thus cannot relieve stress besides smoking a sizable amount of pipe tobacco, is that a bug?
Leecifer 1 Sep @ 7:40pm
@hUbert 2 No Worries :) Having a page in the discussions tab will help those who need it.
Prometheus 1 Sep @ 5:37pm
@PBL: You put the tea leaves and cup in the kettle before boiling it on the stove.
Prometheus 1 Sep @ 5:30pm
This feels like a stupid question, but how do you make Burgers/Hot Dogs? I have the patties and buns but I don't see a place to craft it in the test kitchen, am I missing something obvious?
hUbert 2  [author] 1 Sep @ 2:15pm
I was planning on either adding a gourmet tag on fabrication recipe or in the descriptions but it ended up bloating the UI somewhat
Leecifer 1 Sep @ 1:36pm
Added a thread concerning Gourmet Foods to the Discussions tab. Looks like the tag for gourmet food was added, but no other indicators for what is considered gourmet food.
PBL 31 Aug @ 6:29pm
how do you make tea? i got the kettle + tea + cup but it wont go in the cup
hUbert 2  [author] 31 Aug @ 12:51pm
@Asaedon Good point, it's an oversight, I will fix it

Unsure when the next update will release
Asaedon 31 Aug @ 2:08am
So how do I make strips that are usable in the finished meals. When I craft the strips in the cutting board they start at 0% and go to 100% and turn into nori. Between the 0 and 100 I cant use the strips in the craft. Am I missing a step?
hUbert 2  [author] 31 Aug @ 12:29am
@Asaedon yes
YES
