On track autogearbox setting in the garage menu

Looks sweet, just a couple for issues for me. When I start a race versus the AI,having selected a car, for example the Andrea Moda oone, I get a field of 24 Andrea Moda cars ??? I don't see an opponent filter group for all the 1992 set, looks like they are just individually added.

Why is this car an automatic ? I think this McLaren was actually an automatic but the entire field wasn't, is there a way to force it to manual ?

This car is really fine. I recommend.
