valve have modified models for this purpose in the past (they did this for the crusader's crossbow in particular)
since i'm not supplying assets itself, its ok. it's just a write up for how valve can fix it

Wouldn't this fall under the modification of community-made stuff? Like, the Jag was made by Jman and not Valve. Can this really be added to the game?

I'm just asking due to your instance on the 3-Slot Loch-n-Load fix that was submitted to the Workshop, as it was a modification without the original creator's credit or permission.

It's not a massive model change compared to the 3-Slot Loch-n-Load submission, though, and is mostly a change on the lighting, but it's still a change to the model regardless.
