been getting very consistent crashes everytime i use this, i thought the issue was because of the spark but now the crash is even occuring even without the spark on the dynamic deployment in there. frankly, i do not know what causing this.

Deploying additional soldiers would be obviously overpowered and trivialize the game.

I thought this mod let you call in reinforcements that weren't part of the squad at first, kinda sad it doesn't. Still a little helpful, but not as good as I'd hoped.

As an edit: It's super helpful on defence missions, as I can deploy (almost) everyone right by the guys I'm meant to protect, so it def has it's uses, but could be expanded on maybe to give more uses. Like on LWOTC people who use dynamic deploy only have like 50% of the affect on infiltrating as a normal unit, or, like in the og comment, having extra units that can deploy for backup if things get ugly. Just some ideas, the core concept of the mod is super hype I'd just love to see some more uses for it if possible

I didn't know Jet packs included dynamic deployment. I can just use that one ans see if performance improves.

I find that if you deploy SPARKS and MECS normally at mission start it runs smoother. So I tend to make SPARKS officers

After deployment performance is wrecked until you reload a save. tactical saves aren't recommended but I love this mod so much I just save after deployment and reload immediately

I have been saying this in the discord and they just say I have too many mods. But Sparkarsenal and MECTroopers and Soldierdevredux all weigh this mod down to where you have to wait for the deployment like they sent a chopper IRL. 30mins to an hour wait. I go make dinner eat and use the restroom roll up blaze up and come back to hopefully my whole squad and not a crashed/frozen game.

Constantly crashing, i have tested every mod one by one, this is the only one that causes a exception crash

Oddly enough, that was what was so great with the previous DD. I'd deploy 6man squads on lots of missions while a group of sparks are reserved as jumpers. Perfect for lwotc but can also lead to wipes when the sparks can't be deployed due to one reason or another.

On the other hand, if you have enough soldiers then one can afford to send full teams everytime with some reserved for dd instead of cheesing it like I do.


Also, I don't think I ever utilized this mod fully. I never saw the unlocks. I wonder which mod is blocking it

Would've been neat if covert infiltration or LWOTC's covert mechanic make it so the DD soldiers don't count for the amount of infiltration time or at least not count as much as a full soldier.

Oddly enough, I think the other DD is better in some ways. Being able to go on any mission with just 4 or so units then equipping some sparks with jets so I can drop then anywhere is much more effective. This one works for regular wotc but any modded game that has multiple missions reduces this one's usefulness.

Acutally I explained it wrong. It's not the cost that's problem, rather the fact that you have to buy it through GTS. I play with Amalgamation which make GTS less useful and it's often the last building that I build.

Is there a way to have Dynamic Deployment be available for free at the start of the game? I like using it in early game. It helps your soldiers to get into advantageous positions when everyone has low mobility. Lately however, by the time I have spare supplies to buy it, I usually just don't bother because everyone has better stats or just some kind of mobility boosting abilities/equipment and the mod just becomes cool but not so useful anymore gimmick.

Would it be possible to change the mod to deploy one's full squad, and then select additional units to DD? Not asking if you will, just wondering if it is possible. Thanks

Yeah it takes time to load the soldiers' assets when you deploy them, depending on the speed of your strorage device and how crazy you go on cosmetic mods / voicepacks.

This is brilliant, i used it for the first time and before deployment cutscene the game froze for 2 seconds, i thought it had crashed but wow to my amazement my drops paratroop in wow, good mod

Love the idea here, but I'm having an issue. I'm playing LWOTC on gamepad and X was remapped to the dynamic deployment menu, which means I can no longer get to the soldier customization screen using gamepad.

I have some strange crash when I try deply units the game froze and crush I Wonder if that have somthing to do with "armores of the imperium" Mod espestial with assault armore. or anyone else has that problem when they deploy unit?

There's a critical known issue with the mod at the moment - deploying a soldier armed with a Hunter Rifle will hard crash the game.

If you mean enemy reinforcements, this mod does not interact with them in any way. If you mean XCOM reinforcements, then there could be issues.

Really like using this mod in my setup. Great for saving roster will and when playing with new players having them call in my team as backup!

I'm curious about the possibility of making an option for each solider ready to deploy a charge in the tactical layer. or separate teams? Maybe charges can represent number of units in a team. Can't imagine it an easy option to build.

Might be nice for runs with more players. Imagine some helldiver fans might be interested too.

Hello author, it was normal for me to use this mod in the early stages of gameplay, but later on, due to the addition of ABA and some other mods, the enemy approached 30. When using this dynamic deployment, it would lag for a few minutes before it succeeded. How can I solve this problem? Is it upgrading my computer accessories? Or do you need me to reduce the number of enemies? thanks

After purchasing dynamic deployment I get stuck on loading screen after skyranger drops off on strategy layer screen and the squad select music is going on forever listened to about an hour of "ain't no mountain high enough" to make me not want to hear it for some years now.

Getting an odd visual bug where my soldier's health bar is grey when they drop in, and the health/ablative health disappears entirely after a few turns or when they take damage. Seems to be worse for MEC units, which I find benefit the most from this deployment. Playing on Mod Jam +
