The capital is supposed to be Nanzig/Nancy I believe but is Brussels instead
City and state names are in their native language, not German (example: Leuven supposed to be Lowen)
Ah, I had forgot to correct the territorial changes. That one has been remedied with the last update (done just now). Will get to the spelling error in time (probably as brain no work no good after almost 3000 hours of HOI).
Had considered during development an option to play as Burgundy. Largely the reason why they get all the same tech as Germany upon creation, and a basic story-line focus tree. But started working on other mods and put it all on the back-shelf when the thought of adding Generals, Political Advisors, etc became a bit too much for what was meant to be an RP tool for a TNO mega-campaign.
I am happy to hear you've enjoyed the experience thus far despite the bugs. May your soft attack be ever buffed, and the CAS ever in your favor.
I will also offer a suggestion for potentially being able to play as Burgundy without cheats, possibly by giving an event to decide whether to switch you over to Burgundy or stay as Germany upon focus completion. And a tiny issue that probably only bothers me, in the focus "Establish Hierarchy", it is spelled "Hierachy". Other than those 3 issues I have with it, the mod is pretty good.
Fixed the bug, hope you've enjoyed the mod thus far.
Appreciate you bringing this up! This was a problem before with Austria before Gotterdurang. Believe they gave an update to the generic focus tree that may have messed with my fix for it.
Thanks for bringing it up, will have a look into this when I've the chance.
Nations in the latest version of the mod (1.15.4 version) with the Burgundian focus tree, aside from the Ordenstaat Burgund:
Guatemala
El Salvador
Honduras
Nicaragua
Costa Rica
Panama
Colombia
Venezuela
Ecuador
Peru
Bolivian Republic
Ireland
Saudi Arabia
Yemen
Sultanate of Muscat and Oman
Liberia
Iraq
Iran
Afghanistan
Tibet
Nepal
Bhutan
Mongolia
Tannu Tuva
Philippines
Dutch East Indies
British Malaya
Mengkukuo
So every nation with the generic tree except for the Albanian Kingdom.
I have every mod disabled except for this mod.
With ahistorical, the side in most civil wars that was the opposing that generally has a generic focus tree (e. g. German Reich in the German Civil War) also had the Burgundian focus tree.
Another minor issue: the Ordenstaat Burgund does not get the states Antewerpen or Ardennes.
Every once in awhile, still play with it on even when not as Germany just to make sure nothing crashes when updates happens.
There is an Iron Sky mod for Stellaris that allows this. The path being:
HOIV base (with this mod or another that allows Burgundy) --> TNO ---> Iron Sky Stellaris, but believe the mod was taken down.
That would be the best way about it, as dealing with mega-campaign converters is weird lol
Hope you're enjoying the new DLC, and this mod, if you have any issues, please let us know!
Found the issue! The mod was freaking out when upgrading Agencies in the "Dark Puppeteer" Focus. Was not able to prevent this, removed this focus entirely to avoid crashing for now.
Will have a look at this to see about making a compatible version.
its a VERY detailed world map with a shit load of states.
the pulchritudinous states mod is really good but adding burgundy would be fire
Apologies for late reply, will add this to the disclaimer as well. It is BER, I misspelled it reaaaaaaaally early on and was past the point of no return when we realized it lol
As long as the mods don't alter Germany's focus tree, you're all set! You can tell if the focus to create Burgundy is absent. Personally use many many mods with no issues.
Hope that everyone enjoys the mod!
