again. not everything is magically code related. all you gotta do is drag yourself to the dressmyslugcat portion of the locallow folder. AppData\ LocalLow\ Videocult\ Rain World\ dressmyslugcat

then delete the customization.dat file. shrimple as that

Huge bug where the entire mod itself doesnt appear, im subscribed to it and its not showing up at all. Its doing the same thing for many other mods like Beastmaster where I cannot use beastmaster ingame/arena. Arena maps work fine for some reason ??

is it a common bug that makes watcher completly invis or is it just my game

random, but sometimes a specific part of the torso isn't colored when the scug walks or does smth other than being idle.

@WillowWispy there is a very prevalent bug, check the comments up to this one to see it.

in %locallow% delete your customization.dat file for dms. (if you're not sure how to find local, search how) that tends to fix it. idk what triggers that issue.

hey, huge bug, whenever i click the "get fancy" button it gets black, and i cant leave, and then when i do story or arena it makes my scug invisible and everytime i go into a pipe it crashes

There is a bug where when I click it it shows a black screen, and can't leave unless I close the game, I want to use it, but this bug makes it unusable.

this mod doesn't modify save file information

downloading this mod, enabling it then removing it ruined my save file. You should probably fix this for people.

Anyone having issues should send their exception logs if they can. The mod works for the majority of people so there may be something else interfering if you're having issues

So I know with the Watcher DLC coming out it messed a lot of stuff up, but what I don’t understand is why the DMS isn’t working at all. It just freezes everytime I click on the Get Fancy button

@PuddleDuck the body sprite would bug out and display a big square, so removing it fixed the issue (iirc)

either my game is broken or DMS needs update

for some reason when I press the "Get Fancy" button my game basically freezes and I have to exit out and start it up again after trying to transition to the actual dressing screen

Unrelated to the Watcher DLC, but what if you could layer sprites?
For example, if you wanted to make a cool looking hat, but also wanted parts of the hat any color that anyone wants? The only way to do that currently would be to make new variants of that sprite, which causes a quite a few annoying issues...
The solution I thought up for this problem is to add a layers system of some kind, which I think how it could work is, to render the higher layers on top of the base layer (Basically overlay the upper layer onto the lower layer).
Now for the example hat, you'd only need to make two (or however many custom colors you want the hat to have) sprites for it, and there, problem solved, mostly everyone is happy with their hat that they can put on their slugcat, and change the colors of it without any muddy mixed or dark colors.
