yeah, I try not to go to big with my ships most of the time. makes them more practical. and you're right it does look similar to the Kushan carrier from HW1.

Exactly what I was looking for. Every carrier out there either seems to be more like a carrier-frigate, for just 1-2 fighters, or a supercarrier for an entire fleet. Hard to find a good mid-sized carrier for a half-dozen or so ships (I don't usually play multiplayer, so it only needs to support enough ships for me personally)

Also, in the 4th screenshot (from below), it reminds me a lot of the the Kushan Carriers from the original Homeworld: https://homeworld.fandom.com/wiki/Carrier_(Homeworld)

Hello, I love the design and I have rebuilt this ship in my survival playthrough and made many changes:
manly remove the subgrids, made it hydrogen thrust based, remodelled the interior rear section,
Changed the location of the tank to be inside instead and put full refineries there
made the hangar entrance bigger and many other smaller changes

it's not as beautiful but better for a survival play
