TF2 is as much of a goofy game as much as it is a competitive team-based first person shooter, not to mention it's a game that's as diverse in its playerbase as much as it's old. There're different players that like to customise themselves their own way and that's fine: just because how they choose to customise their loadouts doesn't match with how YOU feel is fitting and unfitting for the game's style or specific characters and their personalities is really none of your business.

The commenters complaining about this not fitting Scout's personality as if the characters in TF2 are on par with something from an expertly-written epic.

All of the mercs are over the top and goofy caricatures of the people whose countries they represent, but they're so lovable and memorable because of how they've been portrayed in their voicework. Them being such goofy characters means there's room for there to be some more out there cosmetics that fit this game's overall tone, and heck, Scout being a head chef isn't as far-fetched as some of the player skins you see in games like CoD or Apex Legends. And guess what? People do genuinely love weirder content like that, much like people gravitate towards more neutral/serious content.

I was about to explain that to Bliedz until i saw your comment, but yeah, i don't see why a Fast Food Clerk set should stop Scout from getting a Chef Costume.

While Scout's never officially shown to be a master cook, there's no proof that he's an atrocious one either. Frankly, I think the Goatee that the Fried Batter gives him is far more out-of-character than him having the potential of being a high-quality chef. The significant difference between the food service set & this is that the other set is themed towards greasy fast-food restaurants, while this is more themed towards sit-down restaurant attire, making them different enough to not be a copy of each other despite being food-related, while also adding more variety to chef-themed loadouts. I'm all for this being added!

I nor see how that Chef Set for the medic could Relate to him in anyway, as he never is seen cooking food at any point in the game. so i woudn't be suprised if this got added in the future too.

Also i'm pretty sure there are some Cooks & Chefs from Boston, just saying

It's some nice modelling, but I don't really get how this relates to scout.
