I had a similar experience to nerdlingnation - I tried the intended move, I even tried to make it do the specific double respawn thing rather than just grabbing it through the fizzler , but it didn't work the first time so I assumed the same deactivation delay that prevented relay-spamming would prevent it too . Once I watched the video and saw that it was indeed meant to work, I was able to solve the rest quickly. Thumbs up, but I can see why this one appears to be unlisted.

I'm still very confused about the solution to this map. I guess I just wasn't able to replicate the double respawn behavior with the fizzler ghost cube. After trying that move once, it seemed that the chamber geometry (goo pit and distance to cube drop area) was meant to prohibit it by making it take too long to walk over from a single ghost cube delay, but it seems like that is indeed the solution. I'm not sure, but I feel like it would have been nice to have kept it the older way where it wasn't required to have the inconsistent-ish double respawn. Maybe I missed something or had a bad experience, but cool puzzle anyway.

It seems that with this latest update, the piston works like it has from before, but now, reactivates the laser and kills the cube before I had the chance to take it over the rail

I'm not familiar with a bug that prevents the piston from activating. Don't know what to tell you since the piston has always been set to auto-rise.

How do you activate the lift? There is no signage signifying what activates it; just that its entirely immobile?
Due to this, downvoted for the meantime, as either it is impossible to do the intended solution, or the way to active it is incredibly cryptic.

Dar n totally lost on this one, i can move the laser and portals but i cant figure out how to get the cube out of the room and then set it up for the finish without respawning it. i think i know what needs to be done to get the cube into the exit area .

Crazy concept! At first I didn't spend too much attention to my portal colours. When I realized that it would be a good idea to take it into consideration, I had the impression that players with different preferences for "opening" and "closing" shots etc. would encounter the map (or others with a similar concept) quite differently. Very fun! :steamthumbsup:

Don't know how you made that final move. I tried many times and was never fast enough. Why not add another one second delay to the cube drop? It would not affect the logic of the map. . Good puzzle, though.

You can fix the cube throw, maybe? Just lower the surface by 1 unit. IIRC we can cube throw up to 2 units high.

ohh smart, I always wanted to implement that but I always forget. IDK where the ucp is but I can accomplish the same thing with PETI items, I got my project for tomorrow!

Perhaps instead of forcing a portal on the bottom of the panel, you could switch the laser emitter to a low laser emitter, for which I believe there is an available UCP - I don't think that would interfere with anything else.

ok I understand, I thought you did something unintended. Yes, I piston that rises and blocks the laser will also work (with consideration with sightlines) I'll try to incorporate your idea because its a little cleaner, but first I have to figure out a clean way to force a portal on the bottom of the angled panel. (hopefully without another ucp)

I did notice that that jump was possible, but just to make sure we're on the same page in my second comment I was saying that where you returned at ~0:22, I instead shot my orange portal first, completed the jump, and then walked through the laser surface while shooting my blue to recollect the cube. Having seen this I thought that the laser-cube climb could be replaced by a platform because I didn't think that the sightline from that upper area to the laser surface could be used.

I will like to add a sign, but I can't find the menu to edit signs in v.43 :/. Do you mean you blocked the laser and cube jumped in under a second? If so I did not think of abusing the timer in that way and I'll take your feedback into consideration.

I checked the attached solution video - my last point doesn't quite make sense in your solution, as I cube climbed back to the laser surface and walked through to catch the cube after placing my orange portal near the the dropper.

I enjoyed that - I quite liked having to sit back and consider where I would want my orange, not blue, portal to be placed. The move of pulling a cube into the fizzler to ghost cube the relay was very fun to deduce though I personally found it to be somewhat tight. I do think it would be nice to have some signage on the relay to indicate its double-functionality - I was a little confused as to what was activating the monodual at first. As for the cube climb blocking the laser - it's a cool condition but I found that it felt a little finnicky in conjunction with the deactivation delayer on the dropper - I wonder if it would be possible to replace it with a auto-rising piston platform, since a cube climb is still necessary later? (With consideration of altered sightlines.)
