Not sure for how long it has been the case, but now there is a mod option dorectly in VTE to not replace the shuttle by their vastly superior redesign (their words), so checking that should be enough.

I know the original is way less detailed and looks like a brick with a spoiler, but I still think it fits better. It's an utilitarian shuttle thing, theirs has "card-carrying evil" fighter vibes.

Yeah, VTE shuttle is weird. I get they felt like the original design was too simple but their replacement is just completely out of place.

Thanks for this. The VTE shuttle is so goddamn ugly (seriously, why did they make it red when the Empire's main color is white?)

@DigiDragoon no, unfortunately the way that mod handles retexturing is not compatibile with other retexture mods.

Weird question, but would adding this allow the VTE textures to be replaced by any subsequent re-textures? For instance the 'just a royalty airship' re-texture mod?
