too big debuffs. Also dont realistic at all. One major country cant make such effect. Also why it doenst scalle from level of county?(minor, major etc) Idea is good

@1heaven - I'm using it right now and it's working fine. If you have a steam version of a mod enabled in the mod playlist but also have a 'local' copy of the mod in your mods directory, they cancel each other out and the mod won't load in the game, even though its enabled. Since you've uploaded a version of this mod, check to see if you've removed the one in your mods directory. Usually it's "Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\mod"

ebcott the mod did not work at all inside millenium dawn, after updating the gui appeared. Even when ignoring the warning it did not appear.

No vanilla files were overwritten so this didn't need to be updated. Just needed to ignore the warning. But I updated anyways.

I think of suggesting Heavy Sanctions be implemented only by Superpowers with -90% Corporate Revenue and -90% Investment Returns :steamthis:

It will be updated? Anyway it seems too unbalanced. Better do major country light and superpower heavy ot decrease debuffs. For example - 10% Corporate Tax Revenue for sanctions of one country? Сrazy, maximum 0,5 and multiple

Im playing as Libya. I got the sanctions lifted, but is still not exporting anything (even with "Globalized trade economy" on)

How do i fix this??

@Ok man - lol it wasn't that serious. I was just making light of the all caps. I'll triple check the files but there shouldn't be an issue. I didn't get a crash with this activated last night.

Hey man, I’m really not yelling. Yes, every time I load into the game not every time but a lot of times I get crushed out when I have your mod activated.

@Ok man - First of all, why are you yelling? Second of all, no vanilla file was overwritten so this mod *shouldn't* need an update. Are you reporting an issue?

Hopefully someday, you can add the embargo from the dlc to your mod, as a more final "heavy sanction" ! (as sometimes, I like to play MD without tank&air designer so I have to disable my 2 dlc, so no embargo -nor logistic airstrike)

(China vs Taiwan only if most of Nato countries got guarantees, if not it is a minor 1v1 conflict with minor WT, but most of the time, all countries remove those guarantees, even when I blocked guarantees removal with MD options -they got a focus bypassing that block and they use it)

Cool :) thanks ! It was frustrating to use your mod and wait 20y to get enough tension to be able to use it ! (Russia-Ukraine ; US&Nato vs Iraq&Iran&Syria&Lebanon (when Iraq wins the 2003 war with a white peace), China vs Taiwan) (all conflicts in Africa, despite lasting decades, do not make any world tension too (just enough for light sanctions), so your mod can only be used for war between major powers most of the time)

Deathwing - I'm working on removing the world tension requirement for the player but keeping it for the AI. That would allow players full control (works better for RP) and also finally adds AI usage

Is it possible to change your mod to make it work with console command "nocb" ? (because currently, I can't embargo&sanction (if I play with BBA dlc) until 2020 when some big war (against Iran most of the time) happens -Afghanistan&Iraq doesn't make enough tension, and I can't heavy sanction any participant -and embargo only with "nocb")

First time I could heavy sanction a country :o because USA went into Afghanistan (volunteers) then couldn't win (stalemate because of my divisions) then declared on Iraq (won -but lost 80k soldiers to my div) then back to Afghanistan. (won -not sure how many manpower lost but often, 40k lost on its side) Only because of all that, it got enough tension for once.

Most of the time, the tension goes down too fast (and not high enough for heavy sanction)
-for US, for China, for everyone, in Africa it create 0 despite the numerous conflicts.

Is it normal to be set that high for heavy sanction ? When US invades Iraq (only volunteers for Afghanistan so almost no tension, Russia 2000 war no tension, same for the war with Georgia if it occurs -against the territory it wants back and Russia helping it), there isn't enough %tension to heavy sanction any country.

most wars (China vs Taiwan -no US defense pact, maybe some volunteers- Russia vs Ukraine, etc) don't make enough to use your mod or just light sanctions :( (or there is a need to play till 2035 for big wars to occur and use heavy sanction?)

** -100 opinion towards the nation enforcing heavy sanctions (lasts 2 years or until lifted)
** The sanctioned country gains a positive opinion modifier towards the nation who enforced the sanction for 6 months (40 for light sanctions, 75 for heavy sanctions)
* Fixed localization typo - sanctions last 2 years not 1 year
* Lowered World Tension requirement for embargo to 5%, matching the requirement to enforce sanctions that this mod brings

can't use it with console command nocb :( (the only time I could use it was for China doing a 2nd war against Japan (after it freed itself from puppeting), plus NKorea as it joined faction with China, the effect was heavy at first -66billion for China then it didn't do much)

I sent volunteers to Iraq (no ceasefire and US don't invade anymore, since I suppress every division out of Iraq) and now Syria (against Lebanon) and yet, only 4.1% (my volunteers in Afghanistan and Iraq aren't recorded, so I can't say how much threat I caused)

Iraq war&Afghanistan is barely 10% so as China, Russia or any non-NATO country, you can't heavy sanction US. (plus all conflicts on the African continent do barely 0.05% threat)

isn't 30% threat too big for sanctions to be imposed ? Russia justifying on Ukraine is only 9% for example, on Georgia 4% (as the 2008 leader is never elected so no 2008 war in Georgia) the only way is to justify on Us, France, UK, Germany, China.
