By any chance you make a version without the power increase, differential lock, and 4wd conversion? This feels almost like a 968 body bolted on top of a truck frame, but I really like the idea of trying to use a 968 that's been modified from stock, with just some tires and other basic mods

this is very cool. finally a mod that makes the A-968M useful but not overpowered, thank you very much for making this.:MUDslippery::steamthumbsup:

Big(ish) update! I swapped the wheels for those on the A-969 so there would be a matching Spare Wheel addon, which is also now available from the garage! This required some suspension adjustments to work properly, so the vehicle now rides a little higher and performs better in mud.

Important:
As a result of these changes and the increased capabilities of the vehicle itself, I've decided to rename it. In MudRunner, the vehicle will now show up as " A-968M Scout ", instead of the old name of "A-968M 4WD". I've also updated the title of the workshop item to match, from "A-968M Trail Conversion" to "A-968M Scout Conversion".

This rename shouldn't cause any issues with existing saves using the vehicle (only the display name parameter was changed, not the actual file names), but I'm not 100% certain so I apologize if it does.

I did some more experimentation last night and I've come up with a version of this car that's swapped to the A-969 wheels with several adjustments to the suspension to make it drive better, plus the addition of the A-969's spare wheel addon.

I'll see about updating this mod later today, since this new version is an objective improvement over the current version in several ways, while still keeping the car fairly realistic in terms of performance.

There's a few versions on the workshop already that use the wheels from either the A-469 or A-3151, so I'd recommend checking those out. Stuff like roof racks or a spare tire would be neat, but again I haven't been able to figure out how modeling works for this game so I'm not planning to attempt those.

Looking forward to that video, thanks!

What about the wheels from the UAZ 3151? Would they work? I guess you'd maybe have to lift up the 968 to make it work? It's not really a big deal, I just thought it would be neat to see an off-road version of the 968, You could even get fancy and add a spare tire on a roof rack of some sort? Either way it's a really cool mod if you just left it the way it is, Thanks again for all of your time put into all of your mods! I'm going to be making a video on your C-66 next! Cheers dude!👊

Thanks! It honestly wasn't too difficult; basically just an edit of the existing A-968M config file to adjust or add a few things. I've never been able to figure out how to properly set up a custom model, so I end up pretty much just playing around with the stock vehicles and seeing what I can change.

There aren't any off-road tires in this pack as of yet, but I could pretty easily swap it to use the wheels from the A-969 (or make a separate pack that does that with possibly a few other adjustments, if you'd prefer).

This mod is really awesome! Actually alot more capable than I thought it would be! Thanks for all of your hard work in making this!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐PS. I sent you a friend request, Also I was just curious if there's a way to add off-road rims\tires?
